Extending tier status

The current tier status for all Emirates Skywards Platinum, Gold and Silver members has been extended for 12 months. Your tier status will automatically be extended for 12 months once you reach your tier review date between now and February 2022. For example, if your tier review date is on or before 28 February 2022, your net tier review date will automatically be adjusted to 28 February 2023. You will be able to retain your tier status based on your travel activity between 1 March 2022 and 28 February 2023.

We recognise that ongoing travel restrictions globally may impact your ability to travel with Emirates and will be in contact with opportunities for you to retain your tier with greater ease from March 2022.

*The Tier Miles on everyday spends offer is currently available on selected Emirates Skywards cobranded cards in the UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and USA.

Extending Miles validity

We’ve extended the validity of any Skywards Miles due to expire on or after April 2020 until 31 March 2022. You can use your Skywards Miles up to 11 months in advance for an extensive range of rewards, including flight tickets on Emirates and partner airlines, flight upgrades, hotel stays, and money-can’t-buy experiences.

We recognise that ongoing restrictions may have given you fewer opportunities to make the most of your Skywards Miles, and we will soon share attractive offers to spend your Miles on from 31 March 2022.

Please note that the details of this relaxed policy may not immediately reflect in the ‘My Account’ section of emirates.com. Your revised tier review date will be updated in the month of your existing review date.

We’re coming up with more ways to support you at this time, so keep your contact details(Opens link in the same tab) up to date.
