- a certified copy of the St. Helenian person’s passport and a letter confirming the dependent’s relationship.

Passengers can obtain a short term entry permit upon arrival for a maximum of 183 days. Passengers must:
- have proof of accommodation for the duration of stay; and

Minors younger than 18 years who are traveling unaccompanied must have:
- a copy of a birth certificate; and
- consent from one or both parents or legal guardian, in the form of a letter or affidavit. These must contain details of who is meeting the child at the airport and address and contact details of all parties.

Minors younger than 18 years who are traveling with someone who is not their parent, or who appears not to be their parent, must have one or more of the following documents:
- a birth or adoption certificate showing the relationship;
- a marriage or divorce certificate for a parent with a different surname to the child;
- a letter from the child's parent(s) granting permission for the child to travel with the adult which must also include contact information.
