Depending on your route, your baggage allowance may be calculated by piece or weight.
On routes that include stops in North, Central or South America your baggage allowance will be calculated by piece. You will be allowed a set number of items, each of which must weigh under a certain weight.*
If your travel starts in the United States and the first carrier on your booking is not Emirates, different rules may apply – learn more.
For all other routes, your baggage will be calculated by weight. If you’re travelling in Economy Class on these routes, your baggage allowance will also depend on the type of fare you’ve purchased and when your ticket was issued.
Find the exact details of your baggage allowance for any flight by visiting the baggage allowance calculator.
If your itinerary includes flights operated by other airlines, different baggage rules may apply for these flights – learn more.
