How to earn Skywards Miles

To earn Skywards Miles at any IHG® Hotels & Resorts property, you must first join IHG® Rewards Club, IHG’s loyalty programme, and select Emirates as your preferred earning alliance.

How to Convert your IHG® Rewards Club points

To convert your IHG® Rewards Club points into Skywards Miles, please contact the IHG® Rewards Club Service Centre on +971 4 429 0 530 (toll charges apply) or by email(Opens your email client).

Emirates Skywards members must first join IHG® Rewards Club, IHG’s loyalty programme, and select Emirates as preferred earning alliance in order to earn Skywards Miles.

Enrolment in IHG® Rewards Club is free to join. Registration is available online or by calling the IHG® Rewards Club Service Centre on +971 4 429 0 530 (toll charges apply), or by completing the enrolment form at any IHG® Hotels & Resorts property.

Emirates Skywards members must quote their IHG® Rewards Club membership number when making hotel reservations, or at check-in to earn Skywards Miles.

Emirates Skywards Members will earn 2 Miles per USD 1 spent on an eligible stay at avidTM hotels, Crowne Plaza® Hotels & Resorts, EVEN® Hotels, Hotel Indigo®, Holiday Inn®, Holiday Inn Club Vacations®, Holiday Inn Express®, Holiday Inn Resort®, HUALUXE® Hotels and Resorts, InterContinental® Hotels & Resorts, Kimpton® Hotels & Restaurants, Regent® Hotels & Resorts, and vocoTM.

Emirates Skywards members will earn 1 Mile per USD 1 spent on an eligible stay at, Candlewood Suites® Staybridge Suites® and The Venetian.

To claim missing Skywards Miles for stays, login to your account and submit the online claim form. Claims for stays prior to 31 March 2020 will earn 500 Skywards Miles per eligible stay.

Emirates Skywards members earning 500 Skywards Miles per eligible stay can submit retroclaims from 01 October 2019 – 31 March 2020. Any retroclaims submitted post 31 March 2020 will earn Skywards Miles based on dollars spent.

Eligible Stay means a stay of one or more consecutive nights at an Eligible Rate at a Participating Hotel by an Emirates Skywards Member regardless of the number of times that the Emirates Skywards Member checks in or checks out during that stay.

Eligible Rate does not include discounted rates, federal/state/provincial government rate, travel agency rates, etc. Please refer to partner for eligible rates.

IHG® Rewards Club members can convert their IHG® Rewards Club points into Skywards Miles, members will receive 2,000 Skywards Miles for every 10,000 IHG® Rewards Club points converted.
