) operates from the airport arrivals area to Casablanca’s port and the city centre (journey time: 45 minutes). This is by far the easy and most comfortable way of travelling into the city. From Casablanca there are intercity connections to numerous major centres.
|Car parking||The main car park has 1,600 spaces and a further car park provides 880 spaces, both of which are opposite the terminals and offer short- and long-term rates.|
|Information and help desks||Airport information desks are located in Terminals 1, 2 and 3. Tourist information is also available in Arrivals.|
Banks with bureau de change facilities and ATMs can be found in Terminals 1 and 2. Passengers are advised to change their leftover dirhams before going through security as there is nowhere to exchange money in Departures. Technically the Moroccan dirham is a closed currency, which means it can't be traded outside the country.
There is a post office in Terminal 1. Wi-Fi connections are available in Terminals 1 and 2 and telephones can be found throughout the airport.
The restaurants and cafés at Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport are concentrated in Terminals 1 and 2. Options range from sit-down restaurants serving local fare to a pizzeria in Terminal 1.
There are shops in all terminals selling a range of goods, from Moroccan arts and crafts to electronics and fashion items. Duty-free outlets can be found in all three terminals, although cigarettes and alcohol cannot be paid for in dirhams, only euros.
Other facilities at Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport include a 24-hour medical centre, pharmacy, children’s play areas and a prayer room.
|Conference and business facilities||Fax, photocopy and internet facilities are available in the small business centre in the main hall at Terminal 1. |Disabled facilities||Lifts and ramps provide easy access to most parts of the airport. Wheelchair transportation can be provided between the aeroplane and the terminal buildings – passengers requiring wheelchairs and special assistance should inform their airline prior to travel. Car parking spaces are dedicated to disabled passengers in the on-site car parks.|
