The accolade reflects the airline’s continued investment in best-in-class products and services that help customers in Thailand “fly better.”

An Award-Winning Premium Economy Experience

Emirates’ Premium Economy cabin combines spacious seating, generous legroom, refined dining and the airline’s world-class ice entertainment system to deliver a distinctive travel experience. Since its global rollout, the product has received several international honours, including “Best Premium Economy Class” at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards in 2024 and 2025, and “Airline with the Best Premium Economy Class” at the 2025 ULTRAs Awards.

Strong Consumer Recognition in Thailand

The latest recognition reflects strong consumer endorsement in Thailand. The annual Product of the Year Awards celebrate products and services that demonstrate exceptional market leadership. Finalists are shortlisted based on market performance and consumer recognition. Winners are then selected through a combined evaluation by professionals from the College of Management, Mahidol University, and the results of a consumer survey.

Emirates’ Commitment to Thailand

“We are deeply honoured to receive this prestigious award from one of Thailand’s most respected business media publications and academic institutions. The Product of the Year Award 2026 reaffirms Emirates’ commitment to delivering distinctive products and services for travellers in Thailand, offering greater choice and comfort than ever before through our Premium Economy experience,” said Mohammed Alwahedi, Emirates’ Country Manager for Thailand.

“Thailand remains one of Emirates’ most strategic markets in Southeast Asia, and we are committed to delivering seamless comfort at every touchpoint of the customer journey. Last year, the airline expanded its Southeast Asian network with Fifth Freedom services linking Bangkok with Siem Reap, Cambodia, and Da Nang, Vietnam. These services give passengers more seamless connections and greater travel flexibility.

Continued Onboard Innovation

Onboard innovation remains central to Emirates’ strategy. Recent enhancements include U-Dream headrest in Economy Class Introduced this summer, the ergonomically engineered, multi-directional adjustable headrest is designed to optimise neck and head support on long-haul flights. Emirates has introduced the world’s first electrically powered Premium Economy seats with full-height, adjustable privacy screens between every seat, giving travellers greater control over their personal space.

awards,Emirates Premium Economy

From 25 October 2026, the A350 will operate on EK717 and EK718, bringing Emirates’ latest-generation cabin experience to customers travelling between Dubai and Nairobi. The Emirates A350 is defined by spacious, bright cabins, enhanced technology, connectivity, and the airline’s signature hospitality across all three cabins.

The introduction of the A350 also marks the first time Emirates’ highly acclaimed Premium Economy cabin will be available to customers flying to and from Kenya, complementing the airline’s enhanced Business and Economy offerings.

Christophe Leloup, Emirates Country Manager in Kenya said, “The arrival of the A350 in Nairobi marks an exciting new chapter for Emirates in Kenya. We’re delighted to bring our latest aircraft and onboard experience to our customers in market, with more comfort, choice and thoughtful touches in every cabin. Combined with our growing flight schedule, the A350 gives customers travelling on the Dubai-Nairobi route something new to discover, while building on the experience they know and love from Emirates.”

What passengers can expect from the A350

The newest aircraft type to join Emirates’ all widebody fleet, the A350 accommodates 298 passengers in three spacious cabins – Business, Premium Economy and Economy. The bright and airy cabins have been thoughtfully designed to provide more space and comfort in every cabin, whilst cutting-edge technology and enhanced entertainment options elevate every journey.

Making its debut in Kenya, Emirates’ Premium Economy cabin offers elevated comfort, comparable to a Business Class experience on many airlines. The cabin is spacious with leather reclining seats that feature a generous pitch, adjustable headrests and more legroom. Customers can enjoy in-seat charging points, a wood-finished side cocktail table, a 13.3-inch TV screen, a generously sized pillow and blanket, complimentary amenity kits on select flights – including the Dubai-Nairobi route – and a globally exclusive sparkling wine, Chandon Vintage Brut 2017.

Business Class is configured in a 1-2-1 layout ensuring every passenger has direct aisle access and a spacious, private environment for both work and relaxation. The fully lie-flat seat is wrapped in soft cream leather and features a personal minibar and wireless charging for comfort and convenience. At the back of the cabin is a snack display area allowing passengers to help themselves to refreshments throughout the flight.

Economy Class features an all new, airy colour palette of sky blue, bronze and cream, complemented by lighter-toned wood finishings. Each seat features the airline’s upgraded ice inflight entertainment system on a 13.3inch 4K adjustable touchscreen, while generous seat pitch and leather headrests provide support, comfort and extra legroom.

Continuing to raise the bar in Kenya

The deployment of the A350 follows a series of enhancements to the Emirates customer proposition in Kenya, including the introduction of the third daily flight between Dubai and Nairobi in July. With 21 flights per week, customers have greater flexibility and connections between Kenya and key markets across Europe and the US, via Dubai.

Nairobi is also home to Africa’s first Emirates World store, which opened in 2024, offering customers a more immersive way to discover Emirates’ products, while offering more convenience and personalised service.

Earlier this year, Emirates introduced further flexibility for customers in Kenya through a partnership with Cellulant, launching a split-payment solution that allows travellers to combine multiple payment methods across 24-hour instalments when purchasing airfares.

Tickets can be booked now on emirates.com, the Emirates App, or via both online and offline travel agents as well as Emirates World Store in Nairobi. Emirates continues to offer flexible booking policies for added peace of mind while travelling. Every ticket booked after 10th August 2026 comes with free unlimited dates changes to Dubai and one complimentary date change to anywhere else in the world, in addition to significantly reduced refund fees across all cabins and fare types, allowing passengers to adjust their travel plans with minimal penalties.

Emirates and SCTDA have worked side by side on joint sales calls, trade workshops, roadshows and familiarisation trips, with Emirates also supporting SCTDA in markets where it has no local representation, introducing trade partners for further engagement, and supporting MICE activity and trade visits to the emirate.

The Emirates and SCTDA partnership reflects the airline's long-standing commitment to promote inbound tourism to the UAE, working closely with other tourism bodies like the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism and Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) to encourage visitors to consider experiencing more than one destination in the country during their stay. His Excellency Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, said: “Renewing our partnership with Emirates is a strategic step in advancing Sharjah’s tourism agenda and consolidating the emirate’s position as a distinctive, year-round destination at the heart of the UAE’s tourism landscape. Aviation partnerships of this calibre are central to how Sharjah competes globally: Emirates’ worldwide network, market intelligence and deep relationships with the international travel trade give the emirate direct access to high-value source markets and enable us to convert that reach into seamless, enriching itineraries for visitors.”

Emirates and Tourism Malaysia have renewed their partnership through a one-year MoU to support the Visit Malaysia 2026–2027 campaign, which targets 47 million foreign visitor arrivals.
The collaboration will explore joint marketing and advertising initiatives, as well as familiarisation trips for media and travel-trade partners. Emirates will promote Malaysia across its global network, supported by 21 weekly flights between Kuala Lumpur and Dubai and onward connectivity via Kuala Lumpur through its codeshare with Batik Air.

Emirates and Visit Finland signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration and drive inbound tourism to Finland from across the airline’s global network. Emirates will launch operations to Helsinki from 1 October, establishing the only year-round connectivity between Finland and the UAE and creating new opportunities for travel and tourism.

Emirates and Visit Finland will explore opportunities to promote Finland in strategic regions on the airline’s global network, including East and Southeast Asia, West Asia, Australasia and major hubs in the Middle East and Africa, along with developing programmes for trade partners and tour operators that educate and excite the industry.

Finland's National Tourism Strategy 2025–2028 aims to grow the sector while creating long-term economic and social value. The partnership will promote year-round travel across Finland's four main regions: the light-filled summers of Lakeland, the islands and forests of the Coast and Archipelago, the winter experiences of Lapland, and Helsinki's urban life and sauna culture.

Emirates and Fjord Norway, the official tourist board of Western Norway, will work closely to boost inbound tourism to the region. The agreement underscores the airline’s commitment to playing a vital role with supporting the growth of tourism in Norway through the provision of connectivity to its global network and world-class travel experiences.

Enriching the customer experience across platforms

Emirates has also renewed its long-standing strategic partnership with Huawei, reinforcing its commitment to the Chinese market and expanding collaboration across marketing, digital innovation and customer experiences. Building on successful initiatives since 2020, including the Emirates App’s integration with Huawei’s ecosystem and joint marketing campaigns, the renewed MoU will focus on strengthening brand engagement in China, advancing personalised digital travel solutions, and exploring new media opportunities. The partnership also supports Emirates’ broader growth strategy in China, where the airline has expanded its network, resumed A380 services and introduced its Premium Economy product.

Emirates and Dubai Duty Free (DDF) have signed an agreement to provide Emirates passengers, traveling to or through Dubai, with exclusive offers at DDF outlets across Dubai International Airport's Terminal 3, adding extra value to their journey. It was signed by Mohammad Al Hashimi, Vice President, Commercial Products, Dubai and Mona Al Ali, Senior Vice President – Human Resources at DDF, in the presence of Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, and Ramesh Cidambi, DDF’s Managing Director.

The agreement reflects a shared commitment by Emirates and Dubai Duty Free, one of the world's largest airport retailers, to enhance the passenger experience on the ground, support Dubai's tourism and aviation sector, and grow traffic to and through Dubai across the Emirates network through joint initiatives between the two organisations.

atm2026

The airline is currently operating at around 93% of its pre-disruption capacity, with demand continuing to build as the winter travel season approaches.

Bookings for winter, beginning in late October, are tracking positively despite a broader shift where customers are making travel decisions closer to departure. South Africa, Brazil, India, Portugal, Egypt, Ghana, Colombia, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are among the markets where demand is currently tracking ahead of last year, alongside Nepal through Emirates' partnership with flydubai.

The UAE also remains a strong outbound market, while demand for premium travel on Emirates continues to grow.

Strong summer demand

Emirates services to and from West Asia, Europe, the Middle East, the Americas and Africa all recorded seat load factors well above 75% during the summer, with particularly strong performance on routes to and from Indonesia, Côte d'Ivoire and across the UK.

Demand for Premium Economy grew across the network, with the Americas recording the strongest growth in demand for this cabin.

Dubai also continued to attract strong inbound traffic. In late August alone, more than half a million customers arrived in Dubai on Emirates flights, up 7% on the same period last year. Travellers included residents returning ahead of the new school year, new residents relocating to Dubai to live and work, and visitors choosing the city for a late-summer break.

Over the summer, customers had more reasons to choose Emirates. The airline boosted its flexibility proposition with one free date change anywhere across the network, and unlimited free date changes to Dubai. It also reduced refund fees on Dubai journeys and introduced Comprehensive Travel Cover, a first-of-its-kind policy which includes medical cover protecting against conflict and airspace disruption, backed by airline-managed accommodation, ground support and rebooking where needed.

Fleet upgrades and product investments gather pace

Since January 2026, the airline has welcomed 18 aircraft – 11 new A350s and seven Boeing 777 freighters – with another six A350s scheduled to arrive before the end of December.

To date, 104 aircraft have completed Emirates' retrofit programme, including 53 Boeing 777s and 51 A380s. This brings the number of aircraft offering Premium Economy and Emirates' latest cabin products to 137. By the end of December, that number will have risen to 155 aircraft.

This expanding product footprint gives customers significantly more opportunities to experience Emirates' latest cabins. Premium Economy is now available on services to 90 destinations, with another 6 destinations set to receive the product before end of this year, including Paris, Delhi, Stockholm, and others.

Connectivity is also being upgraded. Close to 50 Emirates aircraft are now fitted with Starlink, with installations progressing alongside the retrofit programme to bring high-speed inflight internet to more customers.

This year, Emirates also launched the innovative U-dream headrests onboard its A350 Economy Class, the industry’s first Premium Economy seat with privacy dividers, and its next generation signature lounges – with new facilities already welcoming guests in Munich, Frankfurt and Manchester.

More destinations, frequencies and connectivity

Emirates' network will continue to expand heading into winter, with new destinations, additional frequencies and more of its latest aircraft deployed across key markets.

Helsinki joins the Emirates network on 1 October, launching with the A350. The aircraft currently serves 30 destinations from Dubai, increasing to 36 by year-end.

Emirates is also adding capacity on several routes to meet demand. Accra, Tokyo Narita, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi will receive second daily services, while one of the airline's daily Delhi services will be upgraded to an A380.

The Emirates A350 will be deployed to Larnaca, Malta, Nairobi and Hamburg from late October, followed by Mauritius in November. Retrofitted Boeing 777s will be introduced to Stockholm in October and Frankfurt in November, extending Emirates' latest onboard products to more markets.

Beyond its own network, Emirates' 168 codeshare, interline and intermodal partnerships give customers access to an additional 1,750 cities. On an average day, more than 13,000 Emirates customers connect to their destinations on services operated by partner airlines.

The Emirates and flydubai partnership has become one of the defining features of the Dubai hub experience. Today, both carriers provide access to more than 214 unique destinations in over 100 countries, generating more than 4,600 connection opportunities through Dubai.

Emirates customers can reach over 100 flydubai destinations, while flydubai passengers can access more than 140 Emirates destinations. Kathmandu, Zanzibar, Krabi and Belgrade rank among the most popular flydubai destinations for Emirates customers.

Since the partnership launched in 2017, the two airlines have carried more than 28 million passengers across their integrated network.

Alongside Emirates' Helsinki launch in a few weeks, flydubai added Chittagong in Bangladesh in April 2026, Benghazi in Libya in June, followed by Aleppo in Syria and Bangkok (Don Mueang Airport) in July. Further expansion in September includes Pokhara in Nepal.

Open source files for the infographic can be accessed here.

atm2026

The retrofitted A380 will operate on EK071 and EK072, daily. This will see all three of the airline’s gateways in France served with the award-winning Premium Economy cabin, reinforcing Emirates’ commitment to bringing the latest and greatest to the market.

Since launching in Lyon and Nice, Premium Economy cabins to and from France have consistently maintained a healthy seat load factor, with one in ten passengers travelling in Premium Economy to Dubai, demonstrating the ongoing demand for an accessible, premium cabin. A significant percentage of traffic into France is long-haul, originating from destinations such as the UAE, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, India and Thailand, meaning customers are looking for additional space, comfort and an elevated inflight experience when travelling for over 10 hours. Passengers from France opt for similar destinations, as well as the Indian Ocean Islands such as the Maldives and Mauritius, all of which also offer Premium Economy allowing passengers to fly the full route in the airline’s newest cabin.

Cedric Renard, Emirates’ Country Manager in France said, “France is an important and longstanding market for Emirates, and we’re delighted to now offer our newest cabin experience at all gateways we serve. We’ve seen strong customer response to Premium Economy in both Lyon and Nice, alongside growing demand for Premium Economy across our global network. Expanding the cabin to Paris is a natural next step, giving more customers in France the opportunity to experience the exceptional comfort, world-class service and thoughtful details that distinguish this cabin.

“Paris is one of our busiest global gateways for both in and outbound travellers. This latest investment reflects our confidence in the market, and our long-term commitment to serving our customers with more choice, flexibility and premium travel options.”

A closer look at Premium Economy and the retrofitted A380

Emirates’ award-winning Premium Economy cabin has been carefully designed to deliver an elevated journey from take-off to landing. Likened to a Business Class experience, the Premium Economy cabin on the A380 is located at the front of the main deck, with 56 seats laid out in a 2-4-2 configuration. Luxurious, reclining cream leather seats with a cushioned leg rest and six-way adjustable headrest further elevate passenger relaxation and comfort.

Customers can enjoy gourmet, regionally-inspired menus prepared by Emirates' chefs, presented on Royal Doulton fine china with linen napkins and stainless-steel Robert Welch cutlery and served on the spacious woodgrain table, built into the armrest of the seat. Meals are accompanied by a carefully curated selection of premium beverages, including La Parde de Haut-Bailly 2014, which offers the refined elegance of one of Bordeaux's most respected Pessac-Léognan estates, a Chablis Premier Cru Jean-Marc Brocard 2024, which showcases the purity and mineral precision of one of Burgundy's most celebrated Chardonnay producers, as well as a cabin exclusive Chandon Vintage Brut 2021 from Australia.

Premium Economy passengers also enjoy a dedicated check-in counter and priority boarding at Charles de Gaulle airport, generous check-in baggage allowance of 35kg and a further 10kg of carry-on baggage.

Beyond the introduction of Premium Economy, the retrofitted A380 also brings enhancements to First, Business and Economy cabins too. Fully refreshed from nose-to-tail, the cabins are light and airy, in a new cream, bronze and sky blue colour palette, complemented by lighter-toned wood finishing. Emirates’ signature ghaf tree motif – a historic and cultural symbol of the UAE – also features prominently throughout the cabin.

Passengers can still enjoy Emirates’ signature A380 experiences such as the Onboard Lounge design and Shower Spa, with a fresh interior. Both the Onboard Lounge and the Shower Spa feature the same polished woodgrain finish throughout the rest of the cabin, with bronze accents and relaxing, ambient lighting for enhanced relaxation.

Tickets can be booked now on emirates.com, the Emirates App, through online and offline travel agents, or at Emirates retail stores, including Emirates Travel Store in Paris. Emirates continues to offer flexible booking policies and industry-first, comprehensive travel insurance, for added peace of mind while travelling.

Emirates Premium Economy,Operations

The initiative marks a significant milestone in the airline’s commitment to making travel more inclusive and less overwhelming.

The Perth session follows Travel Rehearsal events held in Brisbane and Melbourne. The simulation sessions offer neurodiverse passengers the opportunity to experience the entire travel journey in a calm and supportive environment. The initial sessions welcomed 18 participants and their families across both cities.

Dean Cleaver, Regional Sales Manager at Emirates said: “Our promise to ‘Fly Better’ extends to every passenger, and we are incredibly proud to bring the Travel Rehearsal initiative to Australia. These events are a credit to the fantastic collaboration with our airport partners and local community advocates, who share our vision for truly accessible travel. Seeing the confidence it builds for families first-hand is a testament to its importance.

“We have already done these events Melbourne and Brisbane and Perth is a really special one as the participants have got on board. As many wines are sourced in small parcels and limited allocations, Emirates customers are uniquely positioned to experience rare and sought-after vintages that are not widely available elsewhere.

First Class: icons of the wine world

Rounding off the year in style, Emirates is expected to introduce Dom Pérignon Vintage 2017 in First Class across its global network, the latest expression of the maison’s iconic prestige cuvée. Born from a year of striking contrasts in Champagne, Dom Pérignon Vintage 2017 brings together richness and freshness. Aromas of wet stone, jasmine and candied citrus lead to a vibrant palate, where richness is balanced by freshness, precision and a refined mineral character.

Currently served in First Class on African routes, Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru 2015 from Bouchard Père & Fils comes from one of Burgundy’s legendary Chardonnay terroirs in Puligny-Montrachet, renowned for its power, precision and exceptional mineral tension. With the appellation exceptionally small and Grand Cru Burgundy produced in limited quantities, allocations are highly restricted. The generous 2015 vintage reveals ripe citrus, white peach, subtle spice and delicate toasted notes, with both remarkable freshness and length.

Currently onboard First Class on European routes, Le Petit Cheval Blanc 2023 from Château Cheval Blanc is a rare white wine from one of Bordeaux’s most prestigious estates. Made primarily from Sauvignon Blanc supported by Sémillon, the 2023 vintage combines aromatic precision and freshness, with bright citrus, white flowers, grapefruit and subtle mineral tension. While Château Cheval Blanc is renowned worldwide for its legendary red wine, its limited-production white cuvée remains a distinctive and highly sought-after expression of the estate.

First Class customers travelling to East Asia can currently discover Seña 2016, one of Chile’s most iconic wines and a benchmark for premium Cabernet Sauvignon-led blends from the Aconcagua Valley. Seña demonstrates Chile’s ability to produce wines of world-class elegance, depth and ageing potential. The 2016 vintage offers black fruit, violet, tobacco and cedar, with fine tannins and a long, layered finish.

From late September, First Class customers travelling to Australasia will be served Penfolds RWT Shiraz 2015, one of Australia’s benchmark expressions of Barossa Valley Shiraz. Rich aromas of dark fruit, liquorice, mocha and spice are complemented by subtle savoury notes. On the palate, polished tannins give the wine structure, leading to a long, layered finish. With around a decade of maturity, it is already showing remarkable depth and complexity.

From October, Emirates will serve Château Mouton Rothschild 2003 in First Class on UK routes, offering customers a rare opportunity to experience a mature First Growth Bordeaux with more than 20 years of development. One of the great names of Pauillac and recognised as a First Growth in the historic 1855 Classification, the wine combines intense flavours of blackcurrant, blackberry and plum with notes of cedar, tobacco and warm spice. Ripe tannins and a long, structured finish add to its depth and complexity.

From December on select First Class routes, Vilafonté Series C 2016 will showcase one of South Africa’s highly regarded fine wines. The Cabernet Sauvignon-led Bordeaux-style blend combines black fruit, cedar and spice with polished tannins and a long, refined finish.

Business Class: Bordeaux prestige and a rare white Rhône

Currently onboard Business Class on US routes, La Dame de Montrose 2014 from Château Montrose is the second wine of one of Saint-Estèphe’s great estates and a Second Growth in Bordeaux’s 1855 Classification. The classic 2014 vintage offers blackcurrant, dark cherry, cedar and tobacco, with polished tannins and a long, savoury finish.

From late September on East Asia routes, Business Class customers can experience Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 2024 from Domaine des Sénéchaux, a distinctive white from the Southern Rhône, where only around one in every 16 bottles produced in the appellation is white. The vintage offers white flowers, citrus, pear and subtle spice, with a rounded texture and fresh mineral finish.

Premium Economy: from Bordeaux and Burgundy to a British first

From October, Emirates Premium Economy will feature La Parde de Haut-Bailly 2014, from Château Haut-Bailly, one of the historic estates of Pessac-Léognan in Bordeaux. The wine offers blackcurrant, red plum, cherry, tobacco and cedar, with silky tannins, fresh acidity and a long, elegant finish after around a decade of maturity.

From September, Premium Economy customers will also be served Chablis Premier Cru Jean-Marc Brocard 2024, from one of Burgundy’s most distinctive white wine regions, where Chardonnay is renowned for purity, freshness and mineral precision. Lemon, green apple and white flowers lead to a fresh, refined palate with bright acidity, saline tension and a precise finish.

October will also mark a first for Emirates, as Wiston Estate Brut NV becomes the airline’s first English sparkling wine, served exclusively in Premium Economy on UK routes. Wiston Estate is a historic family-owned property in West Sussex, with vineyards on the chalk soils of the South Downs. Produced from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier using the traditional method, its Brut NV incorporates reserve wines and extended lees ageing for depth and complexity while retaining freshness and distinctive minerality. The wine has earned significant international recognition and Wiston Estate has been named WineGB Winery of the Year six times. Opening with green apple, freshly cut lemon and sourdough, the wine develops with a fine mousse and notes of candied citrus, butter and toast. The introduction of Wiston Estate exclusively on UK routes celebrates British provenance and craftsmanship while giving Emirates customers the opportunity to discover one of England’s benchmark sparkling wines.

Now onboard Premium Economy as a global Emirates exclusive, Chandon 2021 continues a celebrated partnership that has formed part of the cabin’s wine offering since Premium Economy launched. Produced in the Yarra Valley in Victoria using the méthode traditionnelle and aged for four years, the wine balances vibrant fruit with brioche and almond meal, freshness and length, while minimal dosage preserves clarity and regional expression.

Economy Class: characterful wines from France and South Africa

Across its global Economy Class network, Emirates is now serving a new collection of approachable and characterful wines.

Domaine de la Baume Tautavel 2023, a Grenache-Syrah from the Roussillon in southern France, offers ripe blackberry, blackcurrant and red plum complemented by liquorice, pepper and Mediterranean herbs, with smooth tannins and a fruit-driven finish. From October onwards, Emirates will introduce Château Pech-Latt Corbières 2024 - made from traditional Corbières varieties including Syrah, Grenache, Carignan and Mourvèdre, offering ripe blackberry, blackcurrant and red fruits complemented by spice and Mediterranean herbs, with a round, supple palate.

For white wine fans, Cuvée Sabourin Picpoul de Pinet 2024 brings the freshness of France’s Mediterranean coast onboard, with bright lemon, green apple and white flowers alongside subtle mineral and saline notes. Crisp acidity and a clean citrus-driven finish make it particularly well suited to seafood and lighter dishes. Completing the new Economy selection is Journey’s End Weather Station Sauvignon Blanc 2025, produced by the family-owned Journey’s End estate near Stellenbosch, South Africa. The vintage displays green apple, citrus, grapefruit and kiwifruit complemented by subtle saline minerality, with lively acidity and a clean, refreshing finish.

Emirates' prestigious criteria for wine selection

Emirates applies stringent criteria to select wines that perform both on the ground and at altitude, considering fruit character, acidity, tannin levels, oak influence and, crucially, maturity. Many are acquired years before they are ready to serve and aged in professional facilities in France. Bordeaux wines destined for Business Class typically undergo a minimum of eight to 10 years of ageing, while those selected for First Class can mature for at least 12 to 15 years. This long-term approach enables Emirates to secure limited parcels of sought-after vintages and serve customers wines at their peak, as part of the airline’s Fly Better promise.

Customer Experience,Emirates Wine & Champagne,Emirates Economy Class,Emirates Premium Economy,Emirates Business Class,Emirates First Class

One legendary court. One Grand Slam star. For a handful of young tennis players from Miami Gardens, Brooklyn's Kings County Tennis League, and East Palo Alto, today wasn't just another day at the US Open - it was the day they got to rally with a pro at the Arthur Ashe Stadium.

The seven were nominated by the USTA Foundation for their game, as well as for who they are off the court - strong students, natural leaders, and active volunteers in their communities.

Miami Gardens, Brooklyn's Kings County Tennis League, and East Palo Alto are communities that have benefitted so far from Emirates' Force for Good initiative. This community-focussed programme, run in partnership with the USTA Foundation, has funded court refurbishments in under-resourced neighborhoods for the past three years.

Today, young players from each city stepped onto Arthur Ashe to trade shots with Isner, soaking up pointers straight from one of the game's biggest names. The event was not only a clinic, but also a platform that brought kids from different Force for Good communities together for the first time and gave them a shared sense of what accessible courts and real mentorship can build.

Emirates cabin crew were on hand to give out encouragement and a fresh kit of high-quality tennis gear to each young participant to fuel their next season. There was also time for autographs and photos with Isner.

Emirates also opened its doors for the day to additional young fans and their families, giving even more people a taste of US Open magic.

communities
