Emirates and its partners coordinate efforts for peak travel period

DUBAI, UAE 12 December 2019: Emirates Airline, and its partners Dubai Police, Dubai Customs, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA), Dubai Airports and the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) held a meeting today to discuss joint plans and initiatives ahead of Dubai’s busiest air travel season.

The parties jointly agreed on an action plan that will be implemented during the peak period to help manage the road traffic, access and passenger movement in and out from Dubai International airport ahead of a record period of air travel. All aspects of the passenger journey were reviewed and tackled including ways to reduce and eliminate bottlenecks across roads that lead in and out of DXB, ensuring different modes of transport are available to passengers, reducing passenger wait-times at specific touchpoints, and providing seamless passenger journeys throughout the airport.

Passenger related information will be announced next week and all stakeholders are committed to providing the highest quality of service and ensure a smooth journey to all passengers travelling to and from Dubai.
