Earn Miles

Earn up to 7 Skywards Miles per USD 1 spend based on your membership status. And if you pay with an Emirates Skywards co-branded credit card you will earn up to 8 Skywards Miles per USD 1 spend.

How to earn

Book with Budget online and select your Emirates Skywards membership tier. To be eligible to earn Skywards Miles you’ll need to add your Emirates Skywards membership number to your booking and provide proof of your Emirates Skywards membership to Budget when picking up the car at the rental location.

Important Information

  • Emirates Skywards members can earn Skywards Miles on eligible rentals at all Budget retail locations worldwide.
  • Emirates Skywards members will be eligible to earn Skywards Miles for every USD 1 or foreign equivalent spend based on their membership tier at the time of vehicle pick-up.
  • Emirates Skywards members who book and pay with an Emirates Skywards co-branded credit card will earn 1 additional Mile based on their membership tier for every USD 1 or foreign equivalent spend.
  • Emirates Skywards members must enter their membership number and membership tier at the time of booking and present proof of their Emirates Skywards membership at the Budget counter when picking up the car to be eligible to earn Skywards Miles.
  • In the event of a change in Emirates Skywards member’s tier status from the booking to rental pick-up, Budget will honour the tier status at the time of rental pick-up. Proof of the new tier status must be presented in order for the reservation to be updated.
  • Eligible rentals exclude Budget contracted rates, net rates, chauffeur drive, and van rental, complimentary rentals, Budget and airline staff rates.
  • Skywards Miles may only be earned on one frequent flyer programme per rental.
  • Skywards Miles will be awarded on the base rental rate and not on taxes, fuel or additional fees.
  • Skywards Miles will be awarded on rentals made for a maximum length of 28 consecutive days. Any additional days will not be eligible to earn Skywards Miles.
  • Emirates Skywards members will be eligible to earn Skywards Miles only if the name in the rental agreement matches the name in the Emirates Skywards membership account.
  • Skywards Miles will be credited into the Emirates Skywards member’s account approximately six to eight weeks after the car is returned.
  • To claim missing Skywards Miles for rentals completed within the last six months, visit the Budget website.
  • From 8 April 2015, Budget will be able to detect if the name on your credit card doesn’t match the name on the rental agreement. It is Budget policy that the name on the driver’s licence should match the name on the credit or debit card presented at the time of check-out.
