COVID-19 medical travel insurance* automatically applies to your ticket when you purchase flights between 1 December 2021 and 31 March 2022** and take the first flight of your trip during the same period. The ticket must have 176 as the first-three digits of the ticket number.
There are no forms to complete, simply purchase your flights either on emirates.com, through our contact centres, our retail offices, or with your travel agent^. If you need to use your coverage you must call one of our 24 hour support numbers in your preferred language. Coverage applies to travel to any overseas country, even if you travel onwards to another city.
In order to claim against your COVID-19 medical travel insurance, you or someone acting on your behalf must contact the assistance company (contact details provided below) as soon as reasonably possible to notify our insurer of a claim. Our insurer will only settle a claim directly with the provider.
Your coverage is valid for the duration of your return trip (or up to 31 days after your departure date from your original country of departure, whichever is earlier).
If you’re flying on a one way trip, the coverage ends 31 days after you arrive at your final overseas destination.
