An eTicket (or Electronic Ticket) is a ticketing option that eliminates the need for a physical ticket. Instead, your booking details are stored securely in our computer. When it’s time to travel, simply present your receipt and passport when checking in at the airport.
If booking online, there’s no need to visit a local office to receive your ticket or wait to have it delivered - simply print your receipt during the booking process.
If booking directly at an Emirates office, you will be issued a receipt on the spot.
Because your booking information is stored with us, there’s no ticket to misplace or lose. And your travel details can easily be changed at any time over the telephone, without having to produce a paper ticket or visiting a ticket office.
How to book
During the online booking process select Electronic Ticket as your ticketing option. You will be able to print out eTicket receipts for each traveler on the itinerary when you are done.
Please note that dependents on the same passport should be booked separately and need to present their own receipt, irrespective of the passport number.
If you booked your travel online, you may print out a replacement eTicket receipt from the confirmation email we send after every online booking.
If you booked directly at an Emirates office, please return to the office for a replacement receipt.
You may request a refund for a single itinerary online, as long as payment was made online at the time of booking. Visit the eTicket refunds page.
