As a special courtesy to our passengers, in certain cases where an itinerary calls for a long stopover in Dubai, Emirates® will cover accommodation, meals and ground transportation costs.
This service is offered to:
Economy Class
Passengers who have their non-stop, transatlantic round trip transportation originating in the USA or Canada on Emirates and who are booked on the first scheduled connecting flight (which is more than 8hours but less than 24hours) from Dubai to the passenger's destination. Connection Interline itineraries to the Emirates gateway city in the USA or Canada are permitted.
Business and First Class
Passengers who have their non-stop, transatlantic round trip transportation originating in the USA or Canada on Emirates and who are booked on the first scheduled connecting flight (which is more than 6hours but less than 24hours) from Dubai to passenger's destination. Connection Interline itineraries to the Emirates gateway city in the USA or Canada are permitted.
Long stopover (STPC) expenses may also be covered in other cases, such as Skywards® redemption bookings, and other rules may apply.
