Shuttle: a number of shuttle operators run door-to-door services to Seattle and other Washington destinations. Downtown Airporter (tel: (855) 556 3300; downtownairporter.hudsonltd.net) operates shuttle buses between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and hotels in the city centre – fares start at USD 12,50. Shuttle buses leave from the Ground Transportation Center.
Taxi: taxis and limousines are available from the Ground Transportation Center. There is a flat fare of USD 32 for transfers from city centre hotels to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, but this does not apply for the reverse journey.
Light rail: the Central Link light rail service (tel: (888) 889 6368; www.soundtransit.org) operates from a station on the fourth floor of the airport. The journey time to downtown Seattle is about 40 minutes, and the one-way fare is USD 2 to 2.75 depending on the destination. |
