I am traveling to a country that requires Advance Passenger Information (API). Can I still use online check-in?

Immigration authorities in many countries require airlines to provide passenger information prior to the departure of flights into the country to ensure safety and security. Currently, these countries include:

AustraliaGermanyNew Zealand
AustriaIndia*Qatar
BahrainIndonesiaSouth Africa
BangladeshIrelandSpain
BrazilItalySri Lanka
CanadaJapanSwitzerland
ChinaKoreaUnited Kingdom
CyprusMaltaUnited States
Czech RepublicNetherlands
*Information is required for passengers traveling to Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Thiruvananthapuram.

Passengers traveling to the UAE from certain countries also need to provide Advance Passenger Information. Currently, these countries include Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, and Yemen.

If you are traveling to one of these countries, you can still use online check-in where available, provided that all of the relevant passport information for you and anyone traveling with you has been completed. If any passport information is missing or incorrect, you can add or edit that information through the online check-in system.

Please note that all travel in such instances is subject to the approval of immigration authorities in the destination country.
