Many countries have specific requirements for passport validity, and often require passports to be valid significantly longer than the length of your trip – this can vary depending on your country of origin, as well as other factors.
Please check the passport and visa requirements for all countries you’ll be visiting on your journey, and make sure your passport has appropriate validity to cover your whole trip.
If your itinerary takes you via another city and you'd like to spend some time there before continuing to your final destination, tell your reservations agent or use the Stopover tab on the main Make a Booking page.
For example, if your route is Dubai to Melbourne via Singapore, you may choose to stop over in Singapore. Generally, stopovers can be added to your ticket free of charge. Be sure to ask your reservations agent about exclusive hotel rates and offers for our stopover passengers.
The immigration authorities of many countries require all airlines to provide passenger passport information prior to departure of any inbound or outbound flights to ensure safety and security. Currently these countries include:
Passengers traveling to the UAE from certain countries also need to provide Advanced Passenger Information. Currently these countries include: Iran, Iraq, Pakistan and Yemen.

If traveling to the United States of America, the following additional details are required.
Passengers who refuse to supply this information prior to travel will not be allowed entry to the USA and therefore will not be accepted for travel at check-in. It is important that the information is accurate to avoid delays at the airports both on departure and arrival into the USA.
US Citizens, Legal Permanent Residents (LPRs), transit passengers and departing passengers are exempt from the U.S. address requirement.
In addition to the Advanced Passenger Information above, the USA requires your next of kin contact details, in case of an emergency. This will include the person's name and the telephone number.
