|Airport news||Terminal E has now reopened after extensive renovation. There are plans for another terminal in the future, but dates for this project have not yet been finalized.|
|Transfer between terminals||The terminals at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport are connected by the world's largest airport train: Skylink. This transports visitors between the terminals in about 5 minutes. Transportation between terminals from the public area is also available via Terminal Link, a free shuttle bus service. Pick-up and drop-off points are located on the upper level of each terminal, outside the baggage claim areas.|
|Driving directions||There are airport connections from the south on highways 183 or 360, or from the north on highways 114, 121, or 635. All exits are on the left. From central Dallas, head north on Interstate 35E, continue northwest on Route 183, turn off onto the ramp for DFW Airport, and then continue north on International Parkway North (which is a toll road). From central Fort Worth, head north on Interstate 35 West, and at exit 52A merge onto Route 121 (Airport Freeway); continue on Interstate 820, Route 121, and then Route 183 East. Turn onto DFW Airport/Amon Carter Boulevard and head north along the International Parkway North toll road.|
|Car rental||The car rental center is a 10-minute shuttle ride from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport; shuttles depart from the lower level of each terminal and courtesy telephones are located in the baggage claim area. Advantage, Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, EZ Rent, Hertz, National, Silvercar, and Thrifty are all represented.|
|Public transport and taxis||Bus: DART bus connections are available to the Belt Line Station and to remote parking lots.|
Shuttle: Go Yellow Checker shuttle buses (tel: (214) 841 1900 or (817) 267 5150; www.yellowcheckershuttle.com) serve various destinations, including major hotels in Dallas and Fort Worth, from the upper level of each terminal. Fares start at US$15. A number of other shuttle services are also available.
Taxi: Taxis are readily available outside Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, on the upper level of Terminals A, B, C, and E, and on the lower level of Terminal D. A flat-rate fare of US$40 is in place to destinations in Dallas’ Central Business District, and the ride to downtown Fort Worth costs US$43.
Rail: Trinity Railway Express (tel: (817) 215 8600; www.trinityrailwayexpress.org) offers direct connections to a number of stations in both Dallas and Fort Worth, Monday through Saturday. The travel time to downtown Dallas is about 20 minutes and the one-way fare is US$2.50. Shuttles connecting the station and the terminals are free for passengers holding a valid air ticket. DART (tel: (214) 979 1111; www.dart.org) rail services operate from the nearby Belt Line Station (on the Orange Line), which can be accessed via shuttles from the terminals. The fare costs US$2.50 and is valid for two hours; a day pass is priced at US$5.
|Car parking||Short-term parking lots are located next to each terminal. Express parking lots are situated slightly further away and are served by shuttle connections to the terminal. Long-term, economy parking is available at remote sites, also serviced by free airport shuttle buses. For further information on parking, call the information line (tel: (972) 574 7275). Valet parking (tel: (972) 574 2407) is also available.|
|Information and help desks||Multilingual information boards can be found throughout Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. In addition, interactive visitor information centers are located near the baggage claim areas, providing information and direct dialing to some transportation options from the airport. Other sources of information include the Travelers Aid offices located in Terminals B and D. DFW Airport Ambassadors, who are stationed in all terminals, provide assistance, including directing passengers to connecting flights, baggage claim, and other airport facilities.|
|Airport Facilities||Money: Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport has multiple ATMs and bureaux de change within the terminal buildings.|
Communications: Postal facilities are available in all terminals. Fax and paid Internet kiosks can be found in all terminals. Wi-Fi access is available throughout the airport.
Food: There are more than 100 food and drink outlets at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, ranging from snack bars and fast food counters to à la carte dining establishments, including a high-end restaurant in the Grand Hyatt hotel (tel: (972) 973 1234; www.granddfw.hyatt.com).
Shopping: In all, there are more than 100 shops offering everything from cosmetics and drinks to Texas souvenirs. Duty-free shopping is available to international passengers in Terminals A and B.
Luggage: Luggage trolleys are available throughout all terminals. Luggage lockers are not available.
Other facilities: Other facilities at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport include barber shops, massage and manicure salons, a spa, and shoeshine services. Chapels can be found in all terminals.
|Conference and business facilities||Samsung mobile travel centers and 24-hour business centers are located in Terminals A, B, C, and E, as well as at Skylink stations. These feature work counters, semiprivate workstations, Internet access, and a phone outlet at each seat. A Laptop Lane business center provides private workstations with computers, IDD telephones, fax, printing, and Internet. Additionally, the business center located in the on-site Hyatt Regency DFW Hotel (tel: (972) 973 1410; www.dfwairport.hyatt.com), offers a range of business services plus 70 meeting rooms, an exhibition hall, and two ballrooms.|
|Disabled facilities||Within the terminals, there are TDD telephones, amplified receivers, and lowered telephones. Wheelchairs are available from individual airlines in each terminal; passengers should request any special assistance from their airline prior to travel. Disabled parking is available in all parking facilities and the interterminal Terminal Link vans are wheelchair accessible.|
|Airport hotels||There is a large selection of hotels within a short distance of Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, including two on-site options. Assistance with hotel reservations is available at the airport information desks. Many local hotels offer courtesy transport to and from the terminals.|
Grand Hyatt DFW
The more opulent of the two on-site hotels, the 300-room Grand Hyatt is integrated into Terminal D and is thus readily accessible via Skylink or Terminal link connections. Along with its range of dining facilities, the hotel also has 45 meeting rooms, 20 conference suites, a rooftop swimming pool, a gym, and even a cooking school.

Hyatt Regency DFW Hotel
Operating 24-hour check-in and courtesy shuttles, this on-site hotel has more than 800 rooms, together with a huge range of meeting and conference spaces. Additionally, there is a choice of cafés, bars, and restaurants, a 24-hour gym, a heated outdoor pool, and free transport to a nearby golf club.

For those traveling on a more restricted budget, this is a good option close to the airport. This Holiday Inn operates free shuttle services from 05:30 to 23:00 and has a business center with free Wi-Fi access. Breakfast is included in the room rate.
