Bus services are also available from a number of private bus lines covering the New England area. Taxi: Taxis are available outside all terminals 24 hours a day. The fare to central Boston ranges from US$25 to US$45.
Metro: Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) (tel: (617) 222 3200; www.mbta.com) operates routes to/from Boston Logan International Airport. Take the MBTA Blue Line at Airport Station for connections to destinations within Boston (a free shuttle bus service links the station to the terminals). A single fare on Boston Subway costs US$2.50.
Water: Courtesy bus 66 runs from all airport terminals to Logan Dock, where travelers can access water shuttles, catamarans, and water taxis (tel: (617) 422 0392; www.citywatertaxi.com) to Boston Harbor. The Harbor Express (tel: (617) 770 0040) offers numerous daily connections from Logan Dock to Quincy and Hull on the South Shore (travel time: 25 minutes; fare: US$16).
|Car parking||Short- and long-term parking is available at the Central Parking Garage, which is connected to Terminals A, B, C, and E via pedestrian bridges and elevated moving walkways. The Terminal B parking lot offers premium price short- and long-term parking; daily and hourly rates are also available at the Terminal E lot. Long-term economy parking is provided in a remote location, connected to the terminals by a free 24-hour shuttle bus. There is also a free "cellphone lot" for those meeting arriving passengers. |Information and help desks||There are help desks in every terminal, staffed by airport representatives who can assist callers with questions regarding services, transportation, and flight information. |Airport Facilities||Money: Banks, ATMs, and bureaux de change are available throughout Boston Logan International Airport.|
Communications: Free Wi-Fi is available in all terminals. Mobile phone rental, photocopying, and fax facilities can be found in Terminal C.
