Driving directionsThe East Coast Parkway toll road runs directly between the airport and Singapore city center. Cash cards for the toll can be purchased from car rental companies at the airport.
Car rentalAvis and Budget have car rental counters in Terminals 1, 2, and 3, while Hertz has offices in Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 only.
Public transport and taxisBus: SBS Transit (tel: 1 800 287 2727; www.sbstransit.com.sg) operates bus 36, which runs several times an hour between the airport and city center destinations. The service departs from the airport basement; it takes about 60 minutes to get to downtown Singapore (fares: around S$2). Ticket machines on the bus don't give change, so passengers are advised to get small denominations at the change machine in the arrivals halls.
Coach: A regular coach service leaves the airport for Johor Bahru, across the causeway in Malaysia (travel time: 2 hours 15 minutes; fare: S$7).
Shuttle: Shared-ride shuttle buses (tel: 6241 3818) run between the airport and city center hotels (travel time: 40 minutes; fare: S$9).
Taxi: Taxi ranks are situated outside the arrivals hall and are available 24 hours a day. The journey to the city takes about 30 minutes and the fare ranges from S$18 to S$38, depending on the destination.Note: Ground transportation desks (tel: 6241 3818) are situated in the arrivals hall of each terminal and provide information on all forms of transport to/from the airport.
Rail: The MRT (tel: 1 800 336 8900; www.smrt.com.sg) station is located beneath Terminals 2 and 3. It takes about 35 minutes to reach the city center by train (with one change at Tanah Merah) and fares range from S$1.30 to S$2.30, depending on where you are going in Singapore.
Car parkingThere are currently six parking lots at Singapore Changi Airport: uncovered lot 1 serves Terminal 1, multistory parking structures 2B and 2A serve Terminal 2, and lots 3B and 3A serve Terminal 3. A smaller parking lot is located next to the former budget terminal.
Information and help desksInformation counters can be found at several locations within the terminals. Help telephones and touchscreen information kiosks are also situated throughout the airport. Additionally, passengers can submit inquiries in advance through the airport's website.
Airport FacilitiesMoney: Bureau de change kiosks, open 24 hours a day, are located in all terminals. Banks and ATMs are also available throughout the airport.
Food: Singapore Changi Airport has many restaurants, cafés, bars, delis, fast-food outlets, and snack bars offering both Western and Asian cuisine. Many of these eateries are open 24 hours a day. There are also lounge bars showcasing live music in all terminals.
Shopping: There are numerous shops at Singapore Changi Airport, including duty-free outlets and 24-hour mini-supermarkets in all terminals. Other retailers sell a range of items, from the latest fashion to specialist local produce.
Luggage: Left-luggage services are available in all terminals. The information and customer service counters can be approached about lost and found items, or passengers can contact the relevant airline; telephone numbers are available on the airport’s website. Porters are on hand to assist passengers with baggage for a small fee.
Other facilities:The airport is home to a number of well-equipped transit lounges; the Rainforest Lounge provides shower facilities and spa treatments and the Plaza Premium Lounge has shower facilities and refreshments. Additionally, showers in the transit hotels may be used by non-guests for a fee. The airport is also home to themed gardens, a swimming pool, and a fitness center. Other facilities include walk-in medical clinics, a 24-hour medical emergency center (tel: 6543 1118 or 6543 2223), pharmacies, and a multifaith prayer room. Baby-changing rooms and children's play areas are also available; most female toilets have baby-changing facilities.
Conference and business facilitiesThere are business lounges in the transit hotels in Terminals 2 and 3 (tel: 6542 8122 for Terminal 2 or 6823 5300 for Terminal 3). Facilities include workstations, photocopying and fax machines, and meeting rooms. Secretarial and translation services are also available upon request. The iConnect Centre in Terminal 2 offers videoconferencing facilities. Additional meeting rooms and business services are available at the Crowne Plaza Hotel (tel: 6823 5300; www.ichotelsgroup.com), which is adjacent to Terminal 3.
Disabled facilitiesSingapore Changi Airport has level access, elevators, ramps, and accessible toilets. A 24-hour wheelchair rental service is available from the medical centers (tel: 6543 1118). Passengers requiring special assistance should inform their airline prior to travel.
Airport hotelsTransit hotels provide rooms in each terminal and charge per six hours. In addition, there is a full-service hotel on-site and other accommodation options nearby.

Ambassador Transit Hotel
Ambassador Transit Hotels are located in all three terminals of Singapore Changi Airport. These hotels provide rooms on a six-hourly basis and offer services such as a swimming pool (Terminal 1), restaurants (Terminals 2 and 3), gyms, and shower facilities.

Changi Village Hotel
The futuristic Changi Village Hotel is a 15-minute drive from Singapore Changi Airport and provides a free shuttle service to/from the airport. The hotel has a rooftop spa, a swimming pool, and a range of dining options and provides a number of business services.
