DUBAI, U.A.E., 13th March 2013: SkyCargo, the freight division of Emirates, one of the fastest growing airlines in the world, has strengthened its Cool Chain Premium Service with the appointment of an additional cool chain solutions provider.
SkyCargo has contracted CSafe, a global provider of cool chain solutions, for the supply and service of mobile refrigeration units used for its Cool Chain Premium Service, which specialises in the transport of temperature-sensitive products, including pharmaceuticals. The contract will provide units for SkyCargo’s important Dublin to Australia route, which operates through Dubai. Upon completion of a successful test period, SkyCargo will analyse additional lanes for opportunities to further expand the agreement.
“With the growth and size of SkyCargo, it’s critical that we have the necessary capacity and flexibility to provide cool chain solutions for our customers that meet their specific needs,” said Moaza Al Falahi, Vice President Cargo Business and Product Development, Emirates SkyCargo. “The seamless movement of important temperature-sensitive healthcare and pharmaceutical products from one point to another is one of the key strengths of SkyCargo.”
