Dubai World Cup

As title sponsor, Emirates has assisted the Dubai World Cup in becoming one of the world’s top racing challenges, drawing the attention of millions of enthusiasts around the globe. The meeting, traditionally taking place at the end of March and now worth a staggering US$27.25 million, is not just about the world’s richest race, but the entire nice-race program featuring the greatest names in racing and the sport’s brightest stars.  Welcoming over 80,000 race-goers to the event, the Dubai World Cup sponsored by Emirates captivates a world audience and is one of the region’s leading sporting events.

Emirates Melbourne Cup

Emirates is title sponsor of the Emirates Melbourne Cup until 2015. Billed as "The Race That Stops a Nation," the Emirates Melbourne Cup is generally regarded as the most prestigious two-mile handicap in the world, with a prize purse of over AUD6,000,000. Three-year-olds and over compete, covering a distance of 3,200 meters. The event is held on the first Tuesday of November at the Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne and is attended by approximately 100,000 visitors each year.

Emirates Singapore Derby

The Emirates Singapore Derby, one of the most watched races in the region with a prize pool of $1.15 million, is held annually at the Singapore Racecourse in mid-July. The long-established partnership between Emirates and the Singapore Turf Club will continue to help bring Singapore's equestrian sport to new heights.
