Avantha Masters

Avantha Masters

The Avantha Masters is played at the DLF Golf and Country Club in New Delhi, India, on a course designed by Arnold Palmer. The tournament is sanctioned by the European Tour, the Asian Tour, and the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI).

As the only event played in India since the discontinuation of the Indian Masters, the Avantha Masters provides an opportunity for emerging talent of "golf’s new world" to take part in a European Tour event.

The 2012 event was won by South Africa’s Jbe Kruger, who at the age of 25 claimed his first European Tour victory.

Emirates also sponsors the Ryder Cup, UBS Hong Kong Open, Dubai World Championship, BMW International Open 2012, Japan Open, WGC-HSBC Champions, Emirates Australian Open Championship, Australian PGA Championship, Austrian Golf Open, Ballantine’s Championship, Barclays Singapore Open, Maybank Malaysian Open, Thailand Open, and Alstom Open de France.
