The Emirates Cup is an annual two-day preseason soccer tournament hosted by Arsenal Football Club and its official partner, Emirates. The tournament brings over 100,000 people to Emirates Stadium over the course of a weekend to watch some of the world’s best teams going head-to-head for the Emirates Cup trophy.
Since the inaugural Emirates Cup in 2007, clubs such as Emirates-sponsored AC Milan, Paris St. Germain, Hamburger SV, and S.L. Benfica, as well as host team Arsenal, have been pitted against the likes of Valencia, Inter Milan, and Juventus, giving fans the chance to see some of the world’s best players.
Olympique Lyonnais, Villarreal, and VFL Wolfsburg recently joined Arsenal for the eighth staging of the Emirates Cup on July 25 and 26, 2015.
The tournament helps to increase brand awareness and understanding of Emirates' product offering while forming deeper connections with Arsenal fans by enhancing their experience. The Emirates Cup is always an exciting chapter in the partnership with Arsenal Football Club and Emirates is delighted to support another great preseason competition this year.
