Terms & Conditions

  1. The upgrade is available to ALL passengers who have purchased a return ticket for air transportation to Dubai, UAE, travelling with Emirates on flights operated by Emirates AND who have reserved hotel accommodation at The Harbour Hotel & Residence, Dubai Marina, UAE via lastminute.com’s booking facility on emirates.com website.

  2. Your upgrade will NOT be redeemable against any additional stay at The Harbour Hotel & Residence.

  3. Your hotel reservation must be pre-booked prior to the start of your journey. Your upgrade will not be guaranteed if you make your reservation at The Harbour Hotel & Residence by any other method than via lastminute.com as outlined above at paragraph (1). 

  4. The upgrade you receive depends on the class of travel in which you fly on your Emirates flight to and from Dubai as follows:
    a) First Class ticket holders will receive a free upgrade to a superior room type to that which has been booked via lastminute.com
    b) Business Class ticket holders will receive one (1) free one (1) hour spa package per hotel reservation
    c) Economy Class ticket holders will receive a return airport transfer to and from The Harbour Hotel & Residence per hotel reservation

  5. The upgrade is not valid if flights are purchased as part of an inclusive tour package or a companion fare and does not apply to one-way journeys where the return flights are not travelled on Emirates. 

  6. This upgrade is not valid for infants or children unless accompanied.

  7. This upgrade is not valid for seats purchased either partially or fully in Skywards Miles currency for flight reward tickets, award upgrades, or a fare excluding taxes as part of a cash plus miles promotion.

  8. To claim your upgrade you must prove your eligibility upon arrival at The Harbour Hotel & Residence as follows:
    a) Present proof of your Emirates flight reservation via emirates.com and class of travel as flown, i.e. your e-ticket confirmation and your boarding pass as issued for your flight; TOGETHER WITH
    b) proof of your Harbour Hotel & Residence reservation made via emirates.com serviced by lastminute.com

  9. Failure to prove your eligibility – which is subject to verification in cases of doubt by The Harbour Hotel & Residence staff - as outlined in paragraph (9) above will result in EITHER a denial of the service claimed OR the service being charged to your hotel account at full market rate.

  10. This upgrade cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion run by Emirates or lastminute.com.

  11. In the unlikely event that you prove your eligibility and your upgrade is not available, you will be entitled to chose a lower upgrade than your class of travel, examples are as follows:
    a) First Class passengers can opt for a spa package or airport transfer;
    b) Business Class passengers can opt for airport transfer.

    NOTE: Economy Class passengers can ONLY claim airport transfer.

  12. Travel companions must travel on all the same dates and flights with the qualifying passenger for the companion to be eligible to share the upgrade. 

  13. It is the passenger’s direct responsibility to hold a valid passport – with at least three (3) months’ validity – and make any necessary arrangements for visas required for your visit to Dubai by contacting the hotel who will be able to help with arrangements.

* Spa packages and airport transfers should be pre-reserved AFTER you have received your Emirates reservation number for your flight AND you have made your reservation for accommodation via lastminute.com at The Harbour Hotel & Residence by calling +971 (0)4 3034555 or emailing ekresorts@emirates.com.
