Emirates Melbourne Cup
Emirates is title sponsor of the Emirates Melbourne Cup until 2015. Billed as The Race That Stops a Nation™, the Emirates Melbourne Cup is generally regarded as the most prestigious "two-mile" handicap in the world with prize money of over AUD 6,000,000. Three-year-olds and over compete, covering a distance of 3,200 metres. The event is held on the first Tuesday of November at the Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne and is attended by approxdimately 100,000 visitors each year.
Emirates Singapore Derby
The Emirates Singapore Derby, one of the most watched races in the region with a prize pool of $1.15million, is held annually at the Singapore Racecourse every mid July.
