Airport newsIn 2014, authorities at Adelaide Airport ditched a curfew that prevented flights from touching down before 0500. This angered local residents but pleased the tourist board, which claims the additional arrivals will boost the local economy. 
Driving directionsFollow Sir Donald Bradman Drive westwards from Adelaide city centre and turn off at Sir Richard Williams Drive after 5km (3 miles).
Car rentalCar hire companies Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Thrifty and Sixt are represented at Adelaide Airport – offices for these providers are adjacent to the baggage reclaim area.
Public transport and taxisBus: Buses J1 and J2 (www.adelaidemetro.com.au) run to the city centre every 15 or 30 minutes, depending on the time of day. Fares range from AU$3 to AU$4.90 and tickets can be purchased from the driver. All buses depart from a stop outside the terminal building, to the left of the ‘pedestrian plaza.'
Taxi: There are taxi ranks at the airport. All taxis are metered: fares start at around AU$25 for trips to central Adelaide and the journey time is 15 to 20 minutes.
Car parkingShort-term parking is located immediately outside the terminal building in the multistorey car park. Long-term car parking is in a remote location, a short distance from the terminal and is served by shuttle bus every 20 minutes. Valet parking is also available.
Information and help desksInformation desks (tel: (08) 8154 9490) are located on the arrivals level. In addition, Airport Ambassadors provide assistance at check-in and at baggage reclaim.
Airport FacilitiesMoney: There are several bureaux de change and ATMs in the terminal building.
Communications: Free internet access is available throughout the terminal complex. There are also coin-operated internet kiosks on level 2.
Food: There is a good and varied selection of bars, coffee shops and restaurants at the airport. These include a restaurant serving Australian food and wine, a pub and a café serving cakes and desserts.
Shopping: There are plenty of shops in the terminal, including a pharmacy, newsagents, fashion boutiques and gift shops. Duty-free outlets on levels 1 and 2 sell a range of goods, from perfumes and cosmetics to electronics.
Luggage: Luggage lockers are available adjacent to the car rental offices in the multistorey car park. Lost property enquiries should be directed to the lost and found desk (tel: (08) 8154 9468).
Other facilities: There is a children's playroom and a prayer room on the departures level.
Conference and business facilitiesThe Qantas Club VIP Lounge (tel: (08) 8208 8869) on level 1 has fax, photocopying and internet facilities; conference rooms and Singapore Airlines and Malaysia Airlines VIP lounges are also located on this floor.Additional conference facilities are available at the nearby Comfort Inn Aviators' Lodge Hotel (tel: (08) 8356 8388; http://www.aviatorslodge.com.au). Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the terminal.
Disabled facilitiesThere are lifts, ramps and accessible toilets for disabled visitors in the terminal. TDD telephones have also been installed for the hearing-impaired. Dedicated parking spaces are provided next to the entrance to the terminal building.
Airport hotelsThere are two hotels close to the airport. Numerous other options are available in the city centre, which is about 15 minutes away.

A good option for those looking for easy airport access, Adelaide Airport Motel is just three minutes from the terminal by car or shuttle bus. As well as a choice of twin, queen or family rooms, the hotel has a restaurant and offers Wi-Fi internet access to guests.
