Emirates Visit Australia Pass

Emirates Visit Australia Pass (EVAP) allows passengers travelling on Emirates service to Australia to extend their journey to other Australian destinations on Virgin Blue Airlines (DJ) at reduced costs.

Eligibility

• EVAP is valid for travel on DJ operated flights with DJ flight numbers only.
• EVAP cannot be issued separately but can be combined with any Emirates return market fare* to Australia where the international return journey must originate outside Australia/NZ.
  *EVAP is not combinable with Emirates special fares such as seamen, missionary, student fares etc.
• Minimum 2 coupons and maximum 4 coupons can be combined with an international ticket.

Premium Economy Fares

EVAP Conditions

VALIDITY:
Valid for ticketing: until 31st October 2010.
Valid for travel: until further notice.

COMBINATION:
Combinable with any Emirates market fare to Australia but not combinable with special fares such as seamen, missionary, student fares etc.

FARE CALCULATION & FARE BASIS: 
The through end to end fare constructed by adding the EVAP fare to the EK fare shall be shown as a single amount in the Fare Calculation area of the ticket as shown below:

Fare Calculation Example:
London-Brisbane market fare of BE1YGB1 at GBP 712 is combined with EVAP fare to Newcastle.

Assuming pax purchase two EVAPs; 1. Brisbane-Newcastle at USD 45 and 2.Newcastle-Brisbane at USD45.
The Total EVAP fare = USD 90 gross i.e. GBP 55 gross (use ROE on the DOI for conversion).
Total Commissionable fare now is 712 + 55 = GBP 767 gross (commissionable by 5%)

RESERVATION & TICKETING:
Reservations must be confirmed and ticketing must be completed 72 hours prior to departure. If market fare has a ticketing time limit, most restrictive of the time limits will be applicable. Carrier reserves the right to cancel the PNR if TTL is not adhered to.
Booking Class on DJ sectors: Please refer to RBD in the fares matrix.

CHANGE OF RESERVATIONS & RE-ROUTING:
On the EVAP sectors, changes permitted at USD 25 per each change.
Re-routing permitted subject to collection fare difference plus USD 25 re-issues fees.
No refund will be paid if the new fare, as a result of re-routing, is lower than the fare paid.

REFUND AND CANCELLATION:
For the purpose of refund, all EVAP sectors within an itinerary will be classified as an EVAP journey. If any portion of the EVAP journey has already been flown, then no refund applies to the unutilized portions of the EVAP journey. However refunds are permitted at a charge of USD 50 per ticket before commencement of the EVAP journey i.e. if all EVAP sectors are unutilized.

CHILD AND INFANT DISCOUNT:
Child and infant discounts not permitted on EVAP fare.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE:
On DJ sectors following allowance will be applicable. Class F: 50 kgs, Class J: 40 Kgs, Class Y: 30 Kgs
