Arteta teaches budding footballers in Dubai how to ‘Play The Arsenal Way’

DUBAI, U.A.E., 22nd May 2014: Youngsters at Arsenal Soccer Schools Dubai (ASSD) got a taste of FA Cup success when Arsenal Vice Captain Mikel Arteta dropped in for a visit, proudly carrying the FA Cup.

Arteta and his Arsenal team won the FA Cup on Saturday and yesterday the FA Cup winner passed on some of his winning tips to young trainees at 7he Sevens ground, home of ASSD.

The Arsenal star spent time on the pitch with different groups of up and coming footballers before joining them for a special Q&A session. Whilst at 7he Sevens, Arteta also signed autographs for his enthusiastic followers and took questions from the media.

Arsenal Soccer Schools Dubai kicked off in 2009 as a joint venture between Emirates and Arsenal. Each year, around 1,200 children are taught how to “Play The Arsenal Way.”

Earlier yesterday, Arteta visited Emirates’ Headquarters, meeting Sir Tim Clark, President Emirates Airline and staff who had assembled to take pictures of the football star and the FA Cup.
