|Airport news||Work has begun on extending the main terminal and expanding the car parking facilities. An onsite Radisson Blu hotel is due for completion by the end of 2014 or early 2015.|

|Driving directions||From downtown Abidjan head southeast along Pont General de Gaulle, following the signs for the airport.|
|Car rental||Car hire companies located at Abidjan Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport include Avis, Budget, Europcar and Hertz. Offices for these operators are situated outside the international terminal. Self-drive car hire for non-locals is, however, not recommended.|
|Public transport and taxis||Bus: Bus 6, run by SOTRA (tel: 2175 7100; www.sotra.ci), operates between Abidjan Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport and central Abidjan, the fare is XOF 220 and the journey takes around 25 minutes. However, the bus is considered by some foreign authorities to be an unsafe option and is best avoided.|
Taxi: Travellers are advised to choose orange taxis with an official fare display. The journey time into the city is 20-30 minutes, and fares start from around XOF1600.
|Car parking||There are two on-site car parks offering both long and short stay options. These are located directly outside the terminals.|
|Information and help desks||A local tourism information desk is located in the main hall (tel: 2020 6528). Hotel booking is available.|
|Airport Facilities||Money: A bank offering a currency exchange service is located at the airport. There is also an ATM in the public area, but the service can be erratic.|
Communications: There is a post office in the public area. The Phone Shop hires mobile phones and sells public phone cards. Fax, email and internet services are also available.
Food: A bar and a brasserie are situated before security, while a restaurant serving international and local cuisine can be found in the duty-free centre.
Shopping: Several shops, including a pharmacy, bookshop and a duty-free outlet (in the international terminal), are located on site.
Luggage: Left-luggage storage is available and porters are on hand to help with luggage in the arrival and departure areas.
Other facilities: A hotel booking service is available in the public area, along with desks for local tour operators.
|Conference and business facilities||Fax and email services are available from the on-site Phone Shop. There is a VIP lounge but no business or conference facilities at Abidjan Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport. Conference and meeting facilities can be found at the larger hotels in the city centre.|

|Airport hotels||There are currently no on-site hotels at Abidjan Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport, but there are a couple of international chains nearby and even more options in downtown Abidjan.|
Hôtel Ibis Abidjan Marcory
At 7km (4.3 miles) from the airport, the 135-room Hôtel Ibis Abidjan Marcory is the closest of the international branded accommodation to the terminals. A free shuttle bus links to the terminals, all rooms are air-conditioned and there is a bar and a swimming pool. The hotel offers free parking for guests.

Onomo Abidjan Airport
A new hotel situated close to the airport, the Onomo Abidjan Airport has 118 rooms with balconies overlooking enclosed gardens. The hotel also offers meeting rooms and a business centre, along with a restaurant, bar and airport shuttle service.
