Our Destinations

A country of extremes, Nigeria is as warm and hospitable to visitors as anywhere in Africa, though a few parts of the country remain problematic. Archaeological evidence shows that human habitation of the area dates back to at least 9000 BC. Calabar, once Nigeria’s biggest slave port, Kano, a major centre for Islamic scholarship from the middle ages and a focal point in the trans-Saharan trade routes and Capital Lagos are a few among the major attractions in Nigeria. Emirates flies daily to Lagos and Abuja. Learn more about Nigeria below, or see all our destinations on the Route Map.
