|Airport news||Building work on the new Dock B complex and central security check building was completed in late 2011. Additionally, work is ongoing on 'The Circle', a new complex that will offer a wide range of new amenities.|

|Driving directions||From central Zürich, take route L1 to the E60/E41 motorway (north), turning shortly thereafter onto the A51 toll road, which leads directly to the airport.|
|Car rental||Car hire companies: Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, National and Sixt, have desks in the Airport Centre, on level 1.|
|Public transport and taxis||Bus: the bus terminal is located next to the P2 car park; several regular bus lines (tel: 0848 988 988; www.zvv.ch) serve regional towns and villages.
Coach: a coach network connects Zürich Airport to destinations all over Switzerland, including major ski resorts.
Taxi: (tel: 0848 850 852) can be found outside the arrivals areas (journey time: 20 minutes; fare: from CHF 60).
Rail: Zürich Airport has a Swiss Federal Railways (tel: 0900 300 300; www.sbb.ch) station located under the Gates B area, with trains to central Zürich (journey time: 10 minutes; fare: CHF8.20) and many destinations across Switzerland.
Tram: the no.10 Glattalbahn tram (tel: 044 809 5600; www.vbg.ch) operates between Zürich Central Station and Zürich Airport, although this route is slower than by rail (journey time: 40 minutes; fare: CHF 8.20).
|Car parking||There are three multi-storey car parks (P1, P2 and P3) directly connected to the terminal and a further car park a short distance away. The open-air P60 car park provides remote long-term parking and is linked to Zürich Airport by bus. Valet parking (tel: 043 816 5944) is also available.|
|Information and help desks||The Service Center (tel: 043 816 8600) is the main point of contact for all enquiries. Information welcome desks are located in the arrivals halls and in the new Check-in Area 3. FASTpoint terminals, located throughout Zürich Airport, provide information on airport facilities, shopping amenities, flight and train schedules, maps and directories, as well as a range of other services.|
|Airport Facilities||Money and communications: there are banks, which also provide bureau de change services, a post office and nine FASTpoint terminals providing telephone, fax and photocopying facilities. Wireless internet hotspots are available at several locations throughout the terminal. |
Eating and drinking: restaurants, coffee shops, snack bars and take-away facilities are available.
Shopping: shops, including duty-free, are also available. There is an Airport Shopping Centre, one level above check-in area 3.
Luggage: there is a lost property office which deals with Swiss enquiries. A porter service is available (tel: 043 816 6707). Trolleys are available free of charge. There is a left-luggage desk in Arrivals; lockers are available too.
Other facilities: Zürich International Airport has a medical and dental centre, pharmacies, prayer rooms and nurseries. Bicycle and baby buggy rental is available.
|Conference and business facilities||Fax and photocopy facilities are available in the service centre on the first floor of the P2 car park. There are no conference facilities at Zürich International Airport. Several local hotels, including the on-airport Radisson Blu Zürich Airport Hotel (tel: 044 800 4455; www.radisson.com) offer conference and meeting rooms. A number of lounges in Zürich Airport are available for first and business class passengers, as well as customers of particular airlines.|
|Disabled facilities||Facilities for the disabled include accessible toilets and telephone booths, ramps and lifts. Disabled parking spaces are available in car parks P1, P2 and P3; passengers who have pre-registered and have received a permit can park on the kerb opposite the terminal. Porters can be hired to assist disabled travellers to the railway station. There are special assistance desks in the departures halls for travellers with special needs; passengers using this service should report no later than 90 minutes before departures. Passengers requiring wheelchairs and special assistance should inform their airline prior to travel.|
