The UK will become host of the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013, using Cardiff, Edgbaston and the Oval for the 3 week tournament in June. The last Champions Trophy to be held in the UK saw England's defeat against the West Indies in the final of the 2004 competition. This time England will face their long standing rivals, Australia, for their first game of the tournament, with further group matches against Sri Lanka at the Oval on June 13 and New Zealand at Cardiff a day later.
