Airport newsExpansion of Terminal 2 is due for completion in 2012, and further expansions, including the addition of a third terminal, are anticipated to increase overall capacity to around 35 million passengers yearly, more than double current levels.
Transfer between terminalsThe two current terminals (International and Domestic) are joined together to form one building and are within easy walking distance of each other.
Driving directionsThe main road leading to the airport from Moscow is Kashirskoe Shosse highway, which flows into the airport junction road (Domodedovo Airport Road).
Car rentalCar rental services are provided by Avis, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt (advance bookings only). Desks are located in the international arrival hall, in the left wing of the airport.
Public transport and taxisBus: Autoline (tel: (495) 786 2323; autoline.ru/en) offers an express bus service (bus 308) between Moscow Domodedovo International Airport and the Domodedovskaya underground station on the southern edge of the city (journey time: 25-30 minutes). Tickets can be purchased at a counter near the domestic arrivals area of the airport. Boarding takes place in the right wing of the terminal.

Shuttle: There is a 24-hour minibus shuttle service between the Domodedovskaya underground station and the airport (journey time: 25-30 minutes; RUB 100). Payment should be made to the driver when boarding the minibus.

Taxi: Taxis are available outside Arrivals. Journey time is about 90 minutes into central Moscow, and fares are prepaid at the taxi desks within Arrivals. Rail: Paveletsky railway station is connected to the Moscow Domodedovo International Airport by the high-speed non-stop Aeroexpress train (tel: (499) 262 1628; eng.rzd.ru), which takes around 40 minutes, at a cost of RUB 320 for a single adult fare. A number of airlines provide their passengers with free tickets to the Aeroexpress train. Cheaper, but slower (around 70 minutes), commuter trains also link the airport with the city centre.
Car parkingThere is parking space for more than 5,000 cars at the Moscow Domodedovo International Airport. Short-term parking is available adjacent to the terminals, while long-stay spaces are situated at the railway station and next to the Domodedovo Airhotel. Limited short-term VIP parking can be found at the international terminal
Information and help desksAirport information desks and interactive kiosks are located throughout the terminals, at which maps of the airport are available. An automated telephone inquiry system (in English and Russian) is also offered (tel: (495) 720 6666). A flight information desk is located left of the entrance to the airport terminal (tel: (495) 933 6666). The Travel Center (for tourist information and bookings) is located in the international flight arrival area, counters 73 and 74.
Airport FacilitiesMoney and communications: A 24-hour bank is located on the second floor of the airport terminal. ATMs are also available. Bureau de change facilities are available in the arrival area for international and domestic flights on the first floor of the airport terminal, as well as in the shopping centre on the second floor and in the VIP lounge. A post office is situated in the shopping centre. Free internet kiosks are located in the departure area for international flights and there is an internet centre located in the shopping centre. Wi-Fi internet access is also available. There are more than 40 phones located throughout the terminals and mobile phone charging is also available.
Eating and drinking: There are several restaurants, bars and coffee shops at the airport, including the ‘ Old City ’ Russian restaurant and the ‘ Asian Café ’, which offers Japanese food.
Shopping: The main shopping area is situated on the second floor. Shops selling perfumes, souvenirs, toys and many other things are available. Duty-free is also available for international passengers.
Luggage: Trolleys are available free of charge throughout the airport terminal and at the station. There is a left-luggage facility at the luggage office (open round the clock) at the underground level of the terminal. For additional information call (095) 967 8363. Other facilities: There are special facilities for mothers and children and a children centre. The central medical assistance station is located on the first level in the right wing of the passenger terminal (Domestic flights area). The office is open round the clock (tel: (095) 504 0248 or 504 0249). There is also a chapel and a mosque. Militia officers are on duty round the clock (tel: (095) 967 8278).
Conference and business facilitiesMeeting rooms equipped with LCD TVs and video tape recorders are available for hire in the VIP-lounge of the airport (tel: (495) 967 8462 or 797 4797). The rooms can accommodate between 10 and 20 people. More extensive meeting facilities are available at the nearby Domodedovo Airhotel (tel: (495) 795 3868; www.airhotel.ru).
Disabled facilitiesThere are lifts and adapted toilets at the Moscow Domodedovo International Airport and a special staff service provides a whole range of free services for disabled passengers, including transportation from car parks and public transport stops.
Airport hotelsThere is a modern four-star hotel at the Moscow Domodedovo International Airport, which is situated around 500m (1,640ft) from the terminals. Alternatively, a good range of international and local chains can be found in Moscow itself.

The Domodedovo Airhotel has 299 rooms of varying sizes, and it is linked to the terminals by a regular shuttle service. The hotel additionally offers meeting rooms and other business services, along with a gymnasium, restaurant and bar.
