Airport newsTerminal 3 is now hosting international flights, with several airlines having transferred from Terminal 1 in 2013. There are plans to extend the Manila Light Rail system to serve a station in the airport’s vicinity.
Driving directionsFrom central Manila, take the South Luzon Expressway southwards and follow signs to the various terminals, which are located along Andrews Avenue, Domestic Road and NAIA Road.
Car rentalAlamo, Avis, Europcar, National and a number of local car hire companies operate at Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Operators have desks in the arrivals areas of Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
Public transport and taxisBus: An airport bus runs to Metro Manila, while the cheap and frequent Metrobus operates to the city from Terminals 1 and 2. The journey time to the city centre is around 45 minutes, but this can vary depending on traffic conditions.
Taxi: It is recommended to only take a taxi with Department of Tourism (DOT) accreditation – it is best to pre-book these taxis at one of the taxi desks before leaving the airport. Complimentary hotel cars can be arranged at the airport's hotel reservation desks.The journey time into Manila varies enormously depending on the time of day. At peak times, it can take up to two hours; while at best, it will take 30 minutes. The taxi fare is generally around PHP600 for central Manila locations.
Jeepney: Privately owned ‘jeepneys’ run to/from Baclaran, where there is a Metro Rail (tel: (02) 924 0054; terminal along Quirino Avenue to connect to the city.
Car parkingShort- and long-terms rates are available at parking areas in front of the terminals. Long-term parking is available at the corner of Domestic and NAIA Roads and is linked to the terminals via a free shuttle. Information and help desksThe airport and tourist information desks in each terminal are open for all flights.
Airport FacilitiesMoney: Banks at the airport provide bureau de change services during flight operations and there are also separate exchange facilities. ATMs are situated in the arrivals and departures area of the terminals (except Terminal 4, where these is an ATM in the departures area only).
Food: There are either restaurants, coffee shops, snack bars or bars both landside and airside in all terminals. A large concentration of eateries can be found in the departures level of Terminal 1, while the food court in the departures area of Terminal 3 has a range of options.
Shopping: Extensive duty-free shopping is available in the international terminals, while a comprehensive range of retail outlets is provided in the domestic terminal.
Luggage: There is no left-luggage service at Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Luggage trolleys are available without charge and a free porter service is available on request. The lost property office (tel: (02) 877 1109) is located in Terminal 1.
Other facilities: Other facilities include baby-changing facilities, a children's playroom, salon, sauna, massage services, 24-hour medical centres, chapels/prayer rooms and a pharmacy. There are also day rooms in Terminal 1 for transit passengers – these include showers and beds.
Conference and business facilitiesThe airport houses an executive lounge with business facilities and showers, while VIP lounge access is available in all terminals.The Manila Marriott Hotel (tel: (02) 988 9999;, which is close to Terminal 3, offers conference rooms for up to 850 delegates.
Disabled facilitiesManila Ninoy Aquino International Airport is wheelchair-accessible, with ramps, lifts and disabled toilets. Wheelchairs are available on request from airline ground staff; passengers requiring this service or any special assistance should inform their airline prior to travel.
