From 2 April 2015, the runway at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) will be partially closed. This is due to upgrade works taking place between midnight and 6am for the next year.
To ensure that airport operations run smoothly with minimal or no impact to passengers’ travel plans, the Kenya Airport Authority (KAA) is advising all passengers to allow plenty of time to reach the airport as traffic will be busier than normal.
Emirates customers booked to travel on flight EK722 from 2 April 2015 should therefore ensure they arrive at JKIA no later than four hours before the scheduled departure of their flight.
