Emirates is title sponsor of the pre-season tournament held at Arsenal FC’s home ground, Emirates Stadium. In 2007, the inaugural tournament was held over the weekend of 28th and 29th July, as two games were played on both Saturday and Sunday - over 110,000 people attended across the two days. The tournament featured four of Europe’s top teams including Arsenal FC and Paris Saint Germain, both of whom are sponsored by Emirates, as well as Valencia and Inter Milan. Arsenal were the first team to win the tournament. In 2008 another Emirates sponsored team Hamburger SV won the tournament which also featured Arsenal, Real Madrid and Juventus.
The tournament returns on the 1st and 2nd August 2009 with another fabulous all star line up. Details of which will be announced shortly.
