Can I earn Miles on an unused ticket?
No, Business Rewards Miles can only be earned once a flight has been taken. Business Rewards Miles are calculated at the end of each month for travel completed in that month. If an itinerary begins in one month and ends in a subsequent month, the Business Rewards Miles earned for that itinerary will be added to each month on a pro rata basis. Business Rewards Miles earned in a given month will appear in the Group Administrator view of the organisation’s account and be fully redeemable by the 18th day of the following month. E.g. Booking from Dubai – London – Dubai. Travel Dubai-London on the 27-Feb-09 Business Reward (BR) Miles will be credited on the 18-Mar-09. Travel London-Dubai on the 03-Mar-09 Business Reward (BR) Miles will be credited on the 18-Apr-09.
