|Car rental||Car hire companies at the Rome Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport include: Auto Europa, Avis, Budget, Easycar, Europcar, Hertz, Italy by Car, Locauto Rent, Maggiore and Sixt. Their offices are located in Torre Uffici 2, which is signposted from Arrivals, and reached via a pedestrian tunnel from the terminals.|
|Public transport and taxis||Bus: COTRAL buses take around an hour to reach the city centre (tel: 800 174 471; www.cotralspa.it) and the one-way fare is EUR 4.50.
Taxi: taxis are readily available outside the terminals; passengers should only take a white licensed metered taxi. The fare to central Rome is around EUR 40.
Rail: There is a Leonardo Express train service running every half hour to Rome's Termini railway station (journey time: 35 minutes; fare: EUR 14). FR1 line local trains run every 15 minutes and stop at local stations on the way to Tiburtina railway station, the fare is EUR 8. Services also run to Fara, Sabina, Poggio, Mirteto and Orte. |Car parking||Multi-storey car parks A-D are directly linked to the terminals via pedestrian walkways; the long-term car park on the motorway from the Rome to Fiumicino is served by a free shuttle bus to and from the terminals. Covered long-term parking is also available. There are limited spaces at Terminal A and B for short-stay parking. A car valet service is available in T1 (tel: 06 6595 7880).|
|Information and help desks||Information desks are located in each terminal. APT provides tourist information desks (tel: 06 65951). Information kiosks with touch-screen technology can be found in all the terminals.|
|Airport Facilities||Money and communications: facilities include banks, bureaux de change, ATMs and post offices. Internet access is also available.
Eating and drinking: there are several bars and restaurants at the airport.
Shopping: there are duty-free and other shops, including fashion, jewellery, perfumes and traditional Italian products.
Luggage: a left-luggage service (tel: (06) 6595 3541) is available on the ground floor (International Arrivals) of Terminal C, open daily. The airport also has a lost property office (tel: (06) 6595 5253). Porter service (tel: (06) 6595 8364/4054) can be pre-booked.
Other facilities: a First Aid facility is available daily 24 hours. A chapel, a prayer room and nurseries are also available.
|Conference and business facilities||The Atahotel Executive Centre (tel: 06 6501 0100) in T1 has meeting rooms, office space, internet points, fax machines and a copy centre. There are also several airline executive lounges in all terminals. Meeting and conference facilities are also available at the on-site Hilton Rome Airport Hotel, a short distance from the terminals (tel: 06 65258; www.hilton.com).|
|Disabled facilities||Disabled passengers' lounges are available in all terminals. When booking a flight, passengers with disabilities are asked to specify the type of assistance needed. Parking spaces for disabled passengers are available at the long-term car park and on the first level of multi-storey car parks B and C, as well as on the first and fourth levels of car park D.|
|Airport hotels||There is one on-site hotel at the Rome Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport. Otherwise, there is a huge choice of hotels in the city itself.

Just a short walk from the terminals via a moving walkway, the Hilton offers on-site dining and meeting facilities. Other services include an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, gymnasium and a children's playground. Free shuttle buses operate to the centre of Rome.
