Are all Skywards members allowed to spend their Miles on upgrade rewards?

Any member from any tier can use their Skywards Miles to upgrade their Emirates Flight to either Business Class or First Class. There are three easy ways to do this:

• Upgrade an existing booking online from Upcoming Travel, Manage a Booking or at online check-in (up to six hours before departure).
• Call an Emirates Contact Centre (up to six hours before departure).
• Purchase an instant upgrade reward with Skywards Miles at the airport check-in desk (applicable to all membership tiers) or on board the aircraft (applicable to Silver, Gold and Platinum members), subject to seat availability and applicable upgrade restrictions*.
