New members can claim Miles for Emirates flights flown up to two months prior to registering with Emirates Skywards.
If you are missing Miles for Emirates flights, please log in and go to My Account where you can submit an online claim on the Claim Miles page for an immediate reply. If your details match those in our system, we’ll credit the missing Miles into your account straight away.
A claim can be submitted if Miles have not been credited into your account within three weeks of the transaction date. In this case, please take the following action:
Please allow six to eight weeks from the date your claim is received for any missing Miles to appear in your Emirates Skywards account.
Some of our partners offer the facility for members to make a claim directly on their website. Please visit a particular partner page to see if this service is available.
Simply visit the Claim Miles page of the website and enter the booking name and ticket number for the Emirates flight you wish to claim Skywards Miles for. This must match the booking name and ticket number we have in our records exactly for the claim to be authorised online.
Please note that family members cannot make backdated claims for flights they have taken before joining your Family Bonus programme. Family Bonus members do not earn Miles from activities with Emirates partners.
To claim missing Miles on a Skysurfer account for an Emirates flight, the nominated parent or guardian can either call an Emirates Contact Centre or email us with the membership number, ticket details and booking reference. To claim missing Miles on a Skysurfer account for a partner transaction, the nominated parent or guardian should email us with account details and copies of the relevant invoices and/or receipts.

If you haven't earned enough Miles to achieve the reward of your choice, or you’d like to give Miles to a fellow Emirates Skywards member as a gift, you can purchase them online by logging in and going to the My Account section. Miles can also be purchased through your nearest Emirates Contact Centre.
Yes you can, as transferring and purchasing are different types of transactions. If someone transfers 25,000 Miles to your account, you can still purchase another 25,000 Miles in that calendar year. Transferring and purchasing Miles can both be done through your online account.

Skywards Miles can be transferred online to another Emirates Skywards account at a cost of USD 25 per multiple of 1,000 Miles. Miles can only be transferred if the receiving account has at least one earning activity.
Transferred Skywards Miles are valid for a minimum of 3 years from the date of transfer and will expire at the end of the receiving member’s month of birth on the third year.
Once transferred, Miles cannot be transferred again.
We are not able to transfer Miles back to your account once you have decided to give them away.
Miles can only be transferred in multiples of 1,000, beginning at 2,000 Miles, and you can transfer no more than 25,000 Miles to another Emirates Skywards member, or members, in one calendar year.
Miles can only be purchased in multiples of 1,000, beginning at 2,000 Miles. You can purchase no more than 25,000 Miles in one calendar year.
At this time, it is only possible to transfer Miles online via the Emirates website.
