Reiko has hit a dead end in her investigation of the murder of a gang member when an anonymous caller claims to know the name of the killer. Despite being warned against investigating further by a superior officer, Reiko decides to start her own enquiries. When her path crosses with that of high ranking gang member Isao Makita they investigate the case together and an attraction between them grows.
