Camel Racing

Camel racing is not to be missed if you’re here in the camel racing season, September to March, when races are held three or four days each week. In Dubai, camel races start at about 0730 and are over by 0830. It’s quite a spectacle, as countless camels thunder down the tracks at amazing speeds. During the summer there’s still plenty to see on the tracks, with daily practice sessions at no fixed hours, although 0630 is a good time to come, before it gets oppressively hot.
