You can now check in at our airport counters up to 24 hours before departure if your flight departs from Dubai International Airport. For all other flights please note the check-in time on your electronic ticket.
Online check-in
Online check-in opens 24 hours prior and closes 90 minutes prior to scheduled departure time. If you check in online and still need to check in baggage, you need to do so at least 90 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Online check-in is available in 49 countries.
You may also check in while you're on the move, with emirates.com on your mobile phone.
Boarding
Boarding for all flights from Dubai International Airport begins at least 45 minutes before the scheduled time of departure, with gates closing 15 minutes prior to departure. Passengers who present themselves for boarding after the gates have closed will unfortunately not be accepted for travel and their baggage will be offloaded.
Since boarding times vary across Emirates network, please make sure to check your boarding pass.
