The second Emirates Group Environmental Report builds upon our commitment to the continuous development of environmentally-responsible work practices and eco-efficient operations. The report highlights Emirates’ position as a leader in the airline industry for fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions due to its young, technologically-advanced fleet. This second report has an expanded scope from the inaugural report and compares 2011-12 performance to the baseline data from last year, as well as highlighting best practice case studies.
The Emirates Group Environmental Report covers the same period as the Emirates Group’s financial reporting year, from 1st April 2011 to 31st March 2012.
