These terms and conditions govern the booking of your complimentary hotel accommodation. Where Emirates books accommodation in its capacity as agent for a third party supplier, your contract for that accommodation will be subject to the relevant supplier’s terms and conditions which could limit or exclude liability to you.
No contract will come into existence until we accept your request for accommodation.
When you submit your request for accommodation, you guarantee that you have the authority to accept (and do accept) these terms and conditions on behalf of yourself and all persons covered by your accommodation booking. It is your responsibility to ensure that any information given to you in connection with this booking by us or any third party supplier is passed on to everyone on whose behalf you are making, or have made, the accommodation booking.
All designated hotels are subject to availability.
Offer
- First Class passengers who make an eligible booking (set out below) are entitled to two (2) complimentary nights in hotel accommodation either in Dubai or at their final destination.
- Business Class passengers who make an eligible booking (set out below) are entitled to one (1) complimentary night in hotel accommodation either in Dubai or at their final destination.
Eligible Bookings
- This offer is open to all First Class and Business Class passengers travelling exclusively on Emirates-operated flights to Dubai or via Dubai** (code-share flights and itineraries involving other air carriers are excluded from the offer) and booking a return airline ticket (not valid for one-way journeys!) on or after 05th October 2009 until on or before 23rd December 2009. Travel and complimentary accommodation must be utilised between 05th October 2009 and 24th December 2009 (both dates inclusive).
- The entire booking must be made in either First Class or Business Class. The offer is not applicable if any sector of the journey is booked in Economy Class or to any Economy Class passengers who receive a complimentary upgrade to Business Class. If the booking comprises of both Business Class and First Class, the Business Class offer will apply, unless a passenger is holding a First Class ticket but is booked into Business Class due to non-availability of seats.
- The offer is available to adult fare paying passengers only and all airline tickets must be paid for in full. The offer is not available to passengers who have purchased their airline tickets partially, or in full, using Skywards miles or receiving discounted fares such as special offers or Industry and Travel Agency discounted fares.
- The offer is not valid with any other promotion or offer and is not applicable to passengers travelling as part of an inclusive tour package.
- The offer is not valid for passengers whose travel originates in France and Greece.

Accommodation
- Once the eligible booking has been paid for in full, passengers must contact their local Emirates office or travel agent to book the complimentary hotel accommodation at one of the designated hotels. A comprehensive list of designated hotels can be made available from the Emirates local office or travel agent.
- Passengers can decide whether to utilise their complimentary hotel accommodation either in Dubai on their inbound or outbound stop over or at their final destination.
- Complimentary accommodation must be booked prior to commencing outbound sector of the itinerary. Bookings cannot be made on arrival in Dubai or at the destination. Passengers who attempt to make reservations directly with the hotel on arrival in Dubai or at their final destination will have to settle any and all charges directly to the hotel.
- An accommodation booking for a single passenger qualifies for a single room only. If the single passenger is travelling with a second passenger who also qualifies for the offer, a double room can be booked.
- Passengers booked on companion fares will be entitled to a double or twin room only.
- Complimentary hotel accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking on a first come, first served basis. Emirates will endeavour to secure rooms for the dates requested but accepts no responsibility or liability if the requested hotel cannot accommodate the booking because it is fully booked or for any other reasons beyond Emirates’ control.
- Complimentary hotel accommodation does not have to be utilised immediately upon arrival in Dubai or at the final destination but when used, must be used on consecutive days.
- Customers will be provided with an Accommodation Voucher once the complimentary hotel accommodation has been confirmed. Passengers must hand the Accommodation Voucher and boarding pass to the hotel on check in. The flight number and itinerary details must be the same on the Accommodation Voucher and the boarding pass. It is the responsibility of the passenger to provide both Accommodation Voucher and boarding pass to the hotel, without which, the hotel can refuse check in or charge their standard rates directly to the customer.
- The offer includes room, taxes and service charges*. The offer excludes all meals, including breakfast, transfers to and from the airport and any other additional costs incurred.
*Hotels in India: Due to local law, taxes are not included and must be paid by the customer directly to the hotel upon check-out. - Offer subject to a maximum occupancy of two adults per room and maximum one child under 12 years of age sharing existing bedding in parent’s room.
- Check-in at 15:00 hours; check-out at 12:00 hours.
- Any cancellations or changes to complimentary hotel accommodation must be made through the Emirates local office or travel agent that the hotel accommodation was booked through. Cancellations can be made, without charge, up to 48 hours prior to arrival. Any cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival, or if the passenger fails to show for the booking, will result in the passenger being charged USD 300.00 per person.
- Any upgrade of room for Skywards Gold Card members and First Class Passengers is at the discretion of the hotel and subject to availability at the time of check-in.
- Skywards Miles will not be earned on the complimentary hotel accommodation.
General
- Emirates’ reserves the right to modify or cancel this offer at any time without notice.
Emirates Liability to you:
Where Emirates sells or provides to you services provided by a third party in its capacity as an authorised agent of such third party or acts as an agent on behalf of any third party supplier, it is not responsible for negligent acts or omissions of such suppliers, their employees, agents or representatives, nor for any deficiency in the service provided and, in particular, Emirates has no liability for loss, personal injury or death however incurred unless such loss, personal injury or death is caused solely by Emirates’ negligence.
Emirates is unable to accept any responsibility for loss, damage or expense due to unusual, unforeseeable events beyond Emirates reasonable control, the consequences of which could not be avoided even if all due care had been exercised, including but not limited to delays or changes in schedules, technical or maintenance problems, hotel overbooking or defaults, sickness, adverse weather conditions, natural or industrial disaster, industrial disputes involving third party suppliers, war, terrorist activity, quarantine or other causes. You accept full responsibility for such loss, damage or expense.
