As a special courtesy to our passengers, in certain cases where an itinerary calls for a longer stopover in Dubai, Emirates will provide accommodation, meals, ground transportation and visa costs.
This service is available to:
- First Class and Business Class passengers with a connection time until the first available flight of more than six hours and less than 24 hours upon arrival in Dubai.
- Economy Class passengers with a connection time until the first available flight of more than eight hours and less than 24 hours upon arrival in Dubai, and who have qualifying tickets.
Dubai Connect may also be offered in other cases, such as Skywards Flex redemption bookings. Other rules may apply, depending on the date that the flights were booked and the fare paid. Dubai Connect must be pre-booked and Emirates is only able to accept bookings at least 24 hours prior to departure of inbound flight to Dubai at the latest. This service is subject to availability.
How to book Dubai Connect
If you book your flights on emirates.com, you will be notified during the booking process if your itinerary/fare qualifies. After you have completed your online booking, you can book the Dubai Connect service online, by logging on to ‘Manage a Booking’. Please note that better flight connections may be shown using the ‘Search by Schedule’ flight search option, meaning that long stopover expenses may not be covered if the first available connecting flight out of Dubai is not selected.
If you book your flights through a local Emirates office, please check if your itinerary/fare qualifies for an Emirates agent to book the Dubai Connect service for you.
If you have booked your flights through a travel agent, please instruct your agent to book this service on your behalf, provided your itinerary/fare qualifies.
This service is only available for passengers aged 18 years or older, and is only provided in Dubai. Passengers under the age of 18 can use this service if they are travelling with another passenger who is over 18 years.
The itinerary must be on a single booking (i.e. on one ticket). For itineraries comprising of more than one ticket exceptions apply, so please check with your local Emirates office.
A credit card may be required at check-in as security for charges which arise as a result of your use of hotel facilities (such as mini bar, spa, or restaurant expenses) during your stay. These charges will not include any complimentary meals provided by way of voucher as part of your ‘Dubai Connect’ offer. All such personal charges must be paid at the time of service, prior to departure from the hotel, or as designated by the hotel.
Complimentary coach transfers to and from your ‘Dubai Connect’ accommodation will be provided. On your arrival in Dubai, Emirates staff will assist you with the transfers.
Please note the Terms & Conditions that govern this product, especially those relating to immigration entry to Dubai and UAE Visas.
