| Public transport and taxis | Rail: Over 350 trains a day stop at the Düsseldorf Airport Rail Station, including regional, express, intercity and high-speed InterCity Express (ICE) trains travelling between the airport and a number of destinations in Germany. The SkyTrain connects the railway station and the terminal building. Underground: The S7 S-Bahn train connects the airport and Solingen-Ohligs.
Road: Bus: The bus station is located in front of central Arrivals with a good selection of regional services. Bus 760 runs regularly to Ratingen Ost, bus 721 runs to Tannenhof via Düsseldorf central station, and bus SB51 runs to Kaarst-Rathaus via Düsseldorf-Nordfriedhof. Several other regional services call at the bus station by Düsseldorf Airport Rail Station.

| Car parking | There are several car parks available with direct access to the terminals. These are mostly short-term car parks, while the long-term cark parks are further away from the terminals. Reservation for long-term parking is limited to car park 2 of the car parks near the terminals. Parking garages 4 and 5 and parking lot 6 are connected to the terminal via the SkyTrain (journey time - 2 minutes). The first 15 minutes of parking in the underground car park P1 are free.
