Are there additional baggage allowances for golfing equipment? (routes including North or South America)

In addition to normal checked baggage allowances, one set of golf clubs and one pair of golf shoes may be carried free of charge per passenger in any class of service.

If your journey involves interline travel (i.e. it includes flights with another airline), your golfing equipment will travel free on the Emirates sector(s), while charges on the other airlines' sector(s) will be at 50% of the excess charge if your golf bag is in excess of the permissible two pieces of baggage.

Passengers who carry a second set of golf equipment will be charged normal excess baggage charges, if it exceeds the baggage allowance.

If your travel starts in the United States and the first carrier on your booking is not Emirates, different rules may apply – learn more.
